      Hello everyone,

I joined the forum a few days ago. I thought i'd make my first post a sort of confession.
I want to learn about myself through my dreams, and I don't want to hold back when describing
my dreams no matter how effed up they may be.

The way I see it is that in order to learn anything about myself I have to step aside and look
at myself as objectively as possible. That means not judging my thoughts and not being ashamed
or afraid of what I may learn

So I will share with you the most disturbing dreams i have experienced. I don't know much about
dream analysis but im sure Freud would have something to say about these.

A common theme in my dreams has been violence, which I think is pretty typical of a boy who
grew up on the ninja turtles. I find fighting an extremely exciting release. That's why i do Kendo.

I have had several dreams where i am confronted with an enemy who i see as a threat, and i go
a little bit overboard in my reaction. In all three of these dreams I hit the enemy with a blunt object
repeatedly until the person is long dead and all that remains is a puddle of blood and some bone
fragments. I always totally obliterate them. Afterwards i feel i have gone too far, but don't feel any
      remorse.

As for sexual dreams- well they of course are relatively frequent, but the ones i will mention are the
rare ones i wake up from feeling confused about why i did what I did.

5 years ago, or earlier, I happened to have been sleeping in brother's bed (not with him) and that
night i had a dream that I gave my mom cunnilingus (oral). Similary i had a dream a couple years
ago where me and my dad were kissing. I dont remember how i felt during the dreams, but i woke
      up feeling pretty grossed out.

Recently i had a couple disturbing dream as well. I was fooling around with a girl much younger than
me (she's 13 and I'm 19). I find this girl completely uninspiring and have no physical attraction to her.
While we were having 'dry sex' her stomach was huge like she was bearing quadruplets. I was lucid,
why didn't i summon Scarlett Johansson? I wasted for first 5 lucids on failed sexual escapades.

I also had a very homoerotic dream recently, i was completely passive, but a guy was liking my face,
and i just sat their feeling awkward.

The point of this post (sorry about the length) is to get out of the way my nasty secrets, but for the
most part to encourage people to feel no shame when they have strange dreams, if they happen to
      have any.

I welcome anybody else to share these types of dreams they may have been keeping to themselves,
and maybe we can make some sense of them. Feel free to post anonymously, as this is a dream confessional...

Nobody should feel a shame for their dreams as we are not responsible for acting in them.
Some people are just shy of telling about it in public, especially when erotic dreams are concerned. But in fact everybody have them...more or less.
      I'm tired being sorry.

Don't worry, it happens to everybody (well..I think it does...it happens to me anyway).

I don't know much about dream interpretation, but I think that dream-sex can mean something totally different than (you want to do your mother/other totally inappropriate person) a real subconscious desire or something. And the same with the violence; your mind may be trying to express something different but it somehow comes out as a vivid violent image. I have not studied this or anything, but it seems like the subconscious is somewhat limited in its ability to express itself, and it uses strange images, maybe to get your attention? Or because it doesn't know anything else? Or it is just weirdly random?

I don't get why some dreams seem so profound, and then others are so boring and stupid, and then others, like you describe, are so disturbing. I have often wondered about the kind of dreams you describe, what the heck made me dream that horrible thing? In dreams, I am often not the person I hope I am or try to be in real life.

(Also, from my own experience and from reading here--it seems like sex dreams in particular can go really bad in yukky ways, even if they start out good.)

Actually im not at all worried about it. The truth is i find it extremely fascinating. What i really hoped for in my post was that other people would post their disturbing dreams. I am trying to better understand that part of humans which is hidden behind so many layers of self employed and externally-caused censorship (superego).

I understand if people are not comfortable posting things that make them out to be freaks, but we are all animals, and there are many drives we have been trained to ignore. These must manifest themselves somehow. Those dreams we are truly ashamed of might offer some insight into... humans.

Sounds to me like your brain is telling you to come out of the closet. j.k. o.o. Ive had some weird dreams as well. They were a long time ago and I can barely remember. Hmm I dont know if they were "weird" as in giving my family members oral, just...random.

Probably the most disturbing dream i've had is one in which which i was daydreaming or i just zoned-out in class and i got out of my seat and shot m y teacher in the head for being so boring. I woke up with a start thinking i had actually done it, even though it was in 3rd person perspective..

I have had dreams about being in the confessional, and dreams about admitting things.
