I wonder if its just me or if it happens to everyone.

First of all, if I am dreaming about eating some kind of food, wether it be chocolate or a hamburger, when I wake up I find myself craving it.

I also noticed that my emotions seem to be more intense in dreams then they are in the real world. Its usually with fear and nostalga.

Friend, its not only you, honestly I also wake up with strong cravings for food, but that might be just because i f-ed up my sleep schedule and now eat a 4th meal in the middle of the night, but no, i dfinetly think that if you dream about something you could definetly wake up craving it. This happens to me alot with thirst, since i take meds that dehydrate me a little, i dream of thirst and wake up feeling like there is salt in my mouth, needing water. As for emotions, there have been nights i've woken incredibly sad due to a longing for someone that only exists in my dreams, or happy and laughing from something funny. Sometimes my emotions are amplified like 10 times in a dream, so your not alone. They can be profound experiences.

      good luck in the future

Surprisingly I haven't dreamed about food in like.. years.. According to my memory, anyway. The last dream about food that I remember having was when I was about 7 years old. I ate a really tasty hamburger. Wow this post is meaningless because I don't recall if I woke up craving it or not.

As for emotions, I experience really intense emotions in waking life as it is. I don't normally experience extreme sadness/fear in waking life (knock on wood, heh) but they are really intense in my dreams.
