Yes, I know exactly what your saying. One time i had a dream where me and some friends were doing things that would usually get us introuble and i remember we were being chased. While Being chased we found different places to go and hidden spots for us to get even further away. Then just this week i dreampt i was in my school and me and a couple friends went to a "No entry part" and we heard someone scream "Hey! your not suppose to be in here" So we run and as we are getting away from this guy i notice we are using the same escape and shortcuts as we used in the other dream lol. weird...

My dreams almost never relate to each other. They're all separate entities unto themselves.

That happened to me recently. I had an identical dream and remembered that if I touched a certain thing it would hurt. I also remembered how to open a door. (it was actually a painting, but whatever)

This happens to me in about 50% of my dreams. I know what will happen coz I have had the dream before but I think of it as something happening to me again- I dont realise I am dreaming. The dreams always similar but do have differences. It is quite cool.

Some of the dreams are ones that I have forgotten until I have the second one-does this mean that you can remember dreams (that you did not remember when you woke up) when you are dreaming about it a second time-like a dream memory....

wow, this just happened to me, i woke up from one dream, and then i started it halfway through with a better standing because it was an awards thing for famous people and my friend was hosting it and so i was sitting next to all the cool people and before i was watching it from a tv and a balcony from which i fell off and 911 came (ha) it was more like 3 dreams based on the same thing, but in every one i had memory of falling off hte balcony and i wish i was lucid because me REM periods were long because i had *counts* 11 hours of sleep.

I think that happened to me too, if I understood you right. In some dreams, I seem either to have memories from other dreams and consider them reality, either visit places that I know I've been before, but are actually dream places.

I've had similar experiences a few times, where I remember things from a previous dream. For me, it was kinda like on the brink of lucidity, where I almost knew I was dreaming, in that I knew from a previous dream how to fly, and so I used that way to fly, somehow relating that the two were dreams but not connecting that to knowing that I was dreaming.

So yeah I know exactly what you're saying!

Another time it happened was when I was much younger, about 7 or 8, and in my dream I was running around a shopping mall trying to find a particular girl, and just as I found her my mother woke me to say goodbye as she was going to work. I went back to sleep and started the dream again, but this time I knew where to go so I found the girl by going straight to her.

I've done that once or twice, but I've also had a continued dream; Like, I dream something one night, and then the next night I dreampt the last bit of the first dream, and then continued it! it was weird.

This happens to me so so often. Just the other month, I had this dream where I weas stuck in this wierd village with a slide that would lead me ot being awake, but it was locked up. I suddenley rememberd that I had the same dream when I was around 6 or 7. All I had to do was collect coins and insert them to a slot next to the slide. I went up to the dream charecters and was like, Heyyy, remember me? It was a fun experice.
