Experiment. Try with and without. What do you need the ear plugs for anyway? If you worry about the TV waking you up then use the ear plugs.

I use ear plugs every night. I like them for two reasons.
#1 I live in a house that has a lot of noise, and if I didn't use them I wouldn't sleep.
#2 Now I will even use them if it's quiet. Because when I try to wild. I will empty my mind of all thoughts, And try not to even think a word. When I do this right, and just focus on listening. I will start to hear all sorts of strange sounds, and voices. I find this very fascinating and fun. So I like to use the earplugs, to tune out any outside sound. So that I can better focus on listening to inner sounds.

Go some days using them and some days when you don't. See if they work well for you and if they do, keep them.

I tried earplugs for awhile. They dont really block out loud, temporairy sounds (like the cats chasing eachother and fighting), but when i woke up my ears are always sore, or they fell out when I was sleeping And I was constantly reminded by my parents that I cant hear a fire alarm, phone, something like that, ect.
I dont think they are for me, but you should give them a try

Yes to ear plugs. Unfortunately I'm sensitive to noise. My house is near a busy road and my DH and dog both snore lol We also use a white noise machine or fan to drown out road noise, crickets, and so forth.
