Another World

I had an amazing dream, though non lucid and i had to share it.

I was standing on a planet, the sky was black and there was no life on the entire planet. Once there had been civilizations, plants and animals like earth but it had all been destroyed. I was the only living thing on the planet.

There was this "life-force" energy of the planet and i could feel it so strongly. Usually this energy would have been dispersed among all the living creatures on the planet but as i was the only living thing on the planet this energy was focused entirely into me. It was this strong clear feeling, like being high but just so clear. It was amazing.

The crazy thing was, this happened while i had only been asleep for 3 hours. Very unusual to have a clear dream like this after such a short time.

Wow... I wish I had dreams like that, but they're few and far between, if at all. That's really beautiful...

Haha that dream reminds me of that movie, the one.

My most vivid dreams usually occur when I take a quick nap during the day for an hour or two

Ah, that's so great to have such a vivid dream while napping. it'd be cool to dream of living on another planet. I wish I could do that [the napping], the only time I've managed to nap is when I'm extremely sick [and even then sometimes I can't sleep but it's not 'cause I'm tired]

Yeah I have really erratic sleep patterns so I could pretty much pass out at any time during the day. But i have a hard time going to sleep at night and i'm a light sleeper so that does suck

This wasn't actually napping though. I fell asleep at night, like normal. And after the dream i woke up, like waking up lucidly. Then when i checked the time i'd only been asleep for 3 hours. It was so amazing hey.

I had another one, this time i had only been asleep for two hours which is just weird.

Again it was extreemly lucid and clear. I was talking with dream characters at my friends house, as if they were real. It really felt like they were, it didn't feel like i was creating these people. I would leave the house on lucid adventures and then come back to the house and talk to them about it.

One time i went flying into the stars, I was flying like i was swimming so i wasn't going to quickly, so i decided to focus my attention on the stars. I focused really clearly on a star and soon i felt myself being pulled up into it really quickly. I went through some cloud cover and then i looked down and i saw the stars beneath me. The stars i was flying to were only reflections in a massive black pond on the top of the world.

It was such a peaceful, still, quiet moment. Hovering just above this black pool, full of stars, everything black and still and this one duck slowly swimming around the edge of the pond.

I went back and told my new friends about it. Then i asked one of them why do people like to watch violence (he was watching violent anime at the time). And he said "Violence is humankinds shroud". A shroud is generally a piece of cloth worn for protection, there are also death shrouds.

Yeah, could just be jibberish from my subconscious but i thought i would put it out there.

Wow! Nice dream! The reasoning behind my dreams is never as clear as that.
