7 to 9 hours of sleep is the recomemded amount for most people. Some people can survive just fine with 6 hours each night, but, they are freaks. If you don't sleep as much as you should, it is harmful in a way that it can cause you more stress during the day, and make you sleepy, but there is a thing called sleep debt that you will eventually have to return sometime, whether it be by sleeping in or taking a nap. |
