Thread: Most Dreams In One Night

Nine for regular dreams, only two for lucid dreams.

I am pretty sure the most I have ever recalled is 7. I may have had more than 7, but if so I do not remember.

5 for me, not so long ago either. None were lucid

Interesting, 8 votes and it's already across the board...

I said 6 even though I'm not sure. That number seems to pop out at me. Usually if I remember that many dreams then they are all shorter and not as detailed. Most LDs ever in one night is 1 (I've only ever had 4).

I once had twelve dreams in a night. Another night I had 11. But that is not typical. Usually whatI consider a really good night of dreamingis around 7-8. Butmy normal night is about 3 or 4.

I've had 8 dreams in a night, none lucid and none that were chained... I just woke up in the middle of the night, wrote down three then woke up in the morning remembering another five!

i dunno why but whenever im ill and dreaming i get loads of dreams at the same night. and the dreams are really random like one time i found my self dancing on a caravan . so i said 7

Wow-- 11 and 12 a night-- congrats on that, Twoshadows! The most non-lucid dreams I've had in one night is six, the most lucid in one sitting three (but even they were kinda mushed together, so it's hard to say, really).

I said five, knowing that last week I remembered four to some extent (I'm sure I've done better than that somewhere along the line). My goal is to remember three a night for a full week. I should put that in my sig. . . .

How do you guys count your dreams? I prefer to count one dream as one period of REM sleep, even though that dream may have many "chapters" that are totally unrelated. In this case, there is a practical limit to how many dreams you can have in one night that is directly related to how long you sleep (usually four or five for an eight hour sleep).

I usually only have one long dream. They feel very much like movies that I know the ending to, but I recently had a record of 4! That was too many for me. I enjoy dreams with plots.

only 4 vivid dreams for me, because I was sick that night and kept waking up. One or two vivid dreams is good for me. Every now and then I'll have three but they're very broken up and cloudy. I may have had more but that was before I got into lucid dreaming

Wow! You're all really good! I never remember too many dreams, usually one, two every week or so, but I've said three because I'm sure that one night I was able to right that many down.

Well, Im sure all of us have had 10+. We just probably never remember them.

This is actually like the 2nd day I started a dream journal after discovering this wonderful activity in your sleep you can do I got 4 dreams in all in my dream journal and had wonderful progress ever since.

I can only recall that the best I've remembered is 6. But those aren't fragmented, you include fragmetns and then maybe 7... I wish I could remember 6 on a nightly basis though, that'd be wonderful

Four, but some 'pieces' of them were missing. I couldn't remember everything (but I wouldn't go as far as to call them fragments). Funny... that was the night right after I had my first lucid dream. And the night before that (the night I had the LD), I remembered two, but they were incredibly vivid.

The most I have ever had is four, and none of them were lucid. I have never been a very strong dreamer.

My recall sucks at times, and at other times its really cool. I remembered 7 or 8 once which was cool, they were all pretty short and not vivid but still!
