      Coding your dream journal

So, is there a specific way that has been lain down to color code your dream journal? If not there should be. I know many people like color coding to do it. It would be simple to create our own each unique kind of coding, but I think it would be nice to have set way of doing it. If anyone has seen someones dream journal that is coded in a particularly elegant manor that could be a starting point. I've checked the tutorials, and there aren't any for organizing your journal.

Anything below this will be edited with what is suggested.

I just chose some random color for LDs in my journal, but it might be good to have a standardized system, for our communal benefit.

I suggest Royal Blue for LD dream segments, Green for WILD entries, Orange for DILD entries, Red for false awakenings, and black for everything else. I'm sure somebody with a more established system will have a better idea, though. I'm okay with that. I like me.
      LD Counter (as of 07.25.07) = 5 (2 WILDs)
Short-term goal: Recall three full dreams a night for a full week.
Long-term goal: Have three LDs per week for one month.
Longer-term goal: Have one six-hour LD every night! (Shooting too high? We'll see.)
Waking life goal: Round up some NPSG equipment to study my own sleep patterns.

      here goes my coding:

      Dream title
      Dream length: x/5
      Dream vividness: x/5
      (optional)Type of LD induction.

Dream starts with my opinion of it.
Then the dream itself. If needed, boarding lucidity periods in dark blue and full lucidity in blue. Personal notes or explanations (e.g. who is Bob or Jane) in green.

Kromoh's seems pretty good. Maybe add some colors for dreams that some people consider to be in the Beyond section.

      Astral - Red
      Precognitive - yellow
      Preminition - brown

whatever else i've missed. Or maybe Beyond dreaming stuff could all be considered one group, and put into italacised.

In mine I don't color code notes, I just put them in (). I havnt had any lucids to enter since I've just recently put one online but I'll probably just use blue for Lds.

I also color code my DJ.

      Blue: Lucidity

      Pink: Dreamsigns

Purple: My feelings immediately following the dream

Red: My own interpretation or thoughts about the dream
