Weird thing that happens when I'm tired.
I was laying down earlier today, for no reason. I wasn't planning on sleeping, I was expecting someone within a couple of minutes. I just laid there, thinking about a library with people talking.
My mind was wandering, I did not choose to think of this. After a couple of minutes, I hear their voices, the people talking to each other. Just as clear as if they were right infront of me.
I open my eyes because I got a bit freaked out. I was not sleeping, I am 100% positive of that. I decided to try again. I close my eyes.. it happens again.. but this time I lay there listening.
After a couple of seconds after this starts, there is this noise like a hurricane getting louder and louder like I'm being sucked in. This experience lasted 3 seconds or so.
I was interupted right before I felt like I was going to be pulled into it by my friend who had arrived.
My question is.. was I going to be pulled into a lucid dream? This is the way it sounds when WILDing, except I was only laying down for a few moments and was moving my arms and adjusting myself.
It was a different feeling though.. I didn't feel a shift. Perhaps I would have if I waited a bit longer.

Yeah I can confirm that I'd be pulled into a LD. I tried it again today.. same thing but I stuck around a bit longer. I was paralyzed and was about to be pulled in, but it freaked me out. I just lay there perfectly still and these rushes of something come in and startle me. It's like a big whoosh.

That sounds very much like hypnagogic hallucinations to me. They by definition happen before you lose your awareness and fall asleep.

I think your pretty lucky! It's not often that someone gets an experience like that. If it happens again, Listen to what the DC's are saying- You might get sucked in and not even notice the SP.
