Thread: Deadly Dreams.

This kind of thread has been done quite a bit actually...

I find it hard to define "death" in a dream however, because I have frequently done things or have had stuff done to me that would kill me in real life, but I was fine in the dream. Sometimes, though, I get dreams in which I wake up after these events and even more rarely I go into a sort of "dream afterlife". Anyways, I have been shot, stabbed, thrown off cliffs, involved in car crashes, plane crashes, resurrected as a vampire and I even once died of a massive seizure.

I've fallen off buildings, but always wake up right before I hit the ground. No death though.

Here's an experience to share:

And of my more memorable dreams () was of me getting shot through the head, I was in a supermarket shopping when two robbers tried to steal the cash register's money. I was just an innocent bystander in that dream, but ended up getting shot, right in the temple...

Afterwards, I was lying on the floor, with my brain slowly leaking from my burst skull. I didn't feel any pain, but a strange sensation went through me. I was actually very calm, just studying it, and thinking to myself: "Well, this is interesting."

So yes, I've had dreams in where I died or was dying. And they were usually like this. Sometimes I just wake up right after the moment where I'd be dead, and sometimes I get to experience my body being dead (in the dream) for a few seconds while my mind is still intact. Oddly, all these dreams have always been very interesting, calm and peaceful (at that moment in the dream). Like I can just let everything fall off my shoulders, forget all worries, and let these new strange sensations carry me away.

well I've never actually been killed, but i have killed someone else.
funny thing was i killed him with a pitch folk too but he was a demonic devil looking thing and had to die before he killed me!
i have also had my life saved by a man who was hunted by the mafia and gunned down in the street whilst trying to protect me... i woke up and felt so emotional that i cried... I've never forgotten him and still he passes through my mind, maybe a guardian of the moment?

i have gotten shot in just about everywhere in my body, stabbed, burnt, drowned, beheaded, thrown off buildings (it felt like a shockwave through my body) and had a grenade shoved in my mouth. i didnt wake up before it blew, and it felt...interesting...i have no other way to say it.
oh yes, and i have broken my teacher's neck, shot and killed more people than i can remember, ressurected as a vampire and bit my entire class's necks off, eaten a seriel killer's heart, and crushed someones head with a hammer

Hmm I had a dream like this once before. I died and a cool sensation goes through my body while I think "F**k" and then I wake up. ><

Been shot in the face a few times, but there wasn't any afterlife, just more like time stood still right at the point of impact.

Nearly every week i have a dream about being stabbed or shot. Ive been taken hostage by terroists who shot me, a stanger who shot me, some starnger who tried to push me in front of a train and i had even stabbed myself in the back in one of my dreams xD
