      unique dream experience

today i discovered that most people dream completely differently from the way i do.

      i do not:
dream in 1st person (out of body)
dream in three dimensions (movie screen experience)
dream in detail (blurry watercolor quality)
dream in a realistic setting in terms of detail
      dream with feeling
      dream with sound

its been like this all my life (15 years)
and so i find it difficult to believe that anybody can dream in three dimensions, or do anything requiring three dimensions, such as flying, swimming, etc. this is why i never understood references to this in dreaming.
also, i cant understand references to people needing to check if they are dreaming or not (ie, pinch me, i must be dreaming) cause my dreams are so visually different than real life that i find it hard to imagine confusing the two.

and i just found out all this today.

      WTF is wrong?
      help!

I think you should become an hero. I've heard that non first person dreams are like premonitions or something..

could it be that you are just not recalling most or enough of your dreams to be able to dissect them? maybe they are just as real life but you dont remember the ways they are. i remember times when the most i remembered of my dreams was a mental image of some sort, and it was as if my dream consisted of snapshots of the scene.

whats a normal dream sequence like for you?..as far as time flow, narrative, and experiences?

I have short periods of weeks, in which i dream exactly like that.

Though they all seem to be related to watching myself in a game, or a movie.
You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.

Hm, this is strange. Sorry, I can't explain what causes it. But you should feel special that your dreams are unique!

You are probably not alone in your experiences.

It used to be most all my dreams were in first person, and some still are here now. However I notice that more and more they are shifting to 3rd person, more so as though I were an observer to what is going on rather than a participant.
Perhaps this has something to do with my continued move towards non dualism. I dont know.

I also note that none of the dreams I can recall over the 41 years I have lived in this form have ever had sound to them. There is communication, but its more to the tune of direct transmission of thought. I also note that in waking life( I hesitate to label it as reality) there are many sounds that provoke and irriate. Makes me wonder about a correlation there.?.

hmm... as to the question of my dreams, they are very short events, hazy, and usually highly emotional little vignettes. for example, last night i dreamt i had two minds, one of me as my little brother, and and one of me watching my little brother. mybrother/me found dead bodies and i remember being fascinated with his childish unshocked reaction.. but yeah

maybe it is that i just cant remember them properly, but would i then never remember them properly? also, i can communicate, but in thought, like nondualistic
