Thread: What did you dream about last?

All right...

First I was collecting bloody severed human heads by the wheel barrow full.

Then I was having a conversation with a DV member while we both were sitting on toilets.

Then I had a heart to heart conversation with another DV member.

How's that for a night of dreams...?

Apart from the heart to heart conversation with another dv's member my reaction to that would have to be .

Ones of the most vivid dreams I have had to date. Came during an afternoon nap.

I dreamed that I was playing a video game that required full body involvement. I was standing in front of a large canvas that was the display of the game. I was dressed in padding and a face mask. Flaming skulls and rock monsters were approaching from the far distant center of the screen and approaching straight towards me as if they were going to come out of the screen and attack me. As they came closer, they would grow larger until they would fill a large portion of the screen. When they got to the forefront of the screen, I would have to attack the monsters by physically punching and kicking the canvas. As the skulls would approach, I heard the command, "press 2, 1". I figured out that before the skulls arrived, I would have to press on the bottom middle of the screen and then the top middle. Then I would have to begin punching the skulls with my fist. The harder I struck at the canvas, the easier it was to kill the skulls. As I punched them, their grinning toothless faces would fracture, then crack, then finally explode into thousands of pieces. Flaming rock fragments would burst out in all directions across the screen and bounce a few times on the ground before burning out. I would just have to keep kicking and kicking the rock monsters until they fractured and exploded as well.

When I got to the end level of the game, two people stood before me at a desk and told me that I would face my toughest challenge yet. They told me I would not receive any hints and that I would have to figure out what to do on my own. They set a very long wooden pole with a blue flag on the desk and then disappeared. I grabbed the pole and pulled, but it was stuck to the desk with a length of white nylon rope. I pulled harder until the pole broke free. I could see that it was actually a very long spear. I was no longer in front a large canvas, I was actually in the game itself.

Once I had a hold of the spear, the desk disappeared and I knew the level was about to begin. A very big thickly built monster appeared around the corner. He looked like a golem and was made entirely of gray clay. His limbs and face were solid smooth clay, but anywhere that you could see an edge, (along the bottoms of the arms, the jawline, etc) the clay would hang off of him in large stringy ropes.

I grasped the long spear in my hands and ran straight at the golem in an attempt to skewer him through the heart. As soon as the point touched the monster and began to pierce its flesh, a horrible shooting pain entered my back. I retracted the spear and the pain went away. When I tried to stab the monster again, the pain started over. I somehow knew that if I were going to kill the monster, I would kill myself in the process. The spear would surely run me through at the same time it went through the monster. I decided to give it one more attempt. I ran at the monster and began pushing with all my strength, willing myself to bear whatever would happen next. The pain was excruciating and I began to squirm and writhe in agony, trying to escape the pain. I found that if I turned to the side, the pain would ease up considerably. I turned fully to the side and saw a spear come slipping past me (the real spear). The spear in my hands faded away as this second, real spear came flying past and pierced the monster clear through.

At the same time I felt impressed to jump to the side and move out of the way. An old Chevy C50 truck came careening around the corner. It was blue and had a high sided dump bed installed on the back of it. The truck struck a pile of earth which resulted in a fantastic explosion and shower of earth spraying in all directions. As it struck the pile and started to climb up it, it became top heavy and tipped over on top of the golem, squishing it into a large sticky mass.

The last thing I dreamed about was a sunny outdoors location. I suddenly realized that it was a dream and I serenely walked around... Unfortunately I was too relaxed to remember to prolong my lucidity, so it ended quite quickly.

Then I fell asleep..

I dreamt i was in Asda shopping and i become lucid. I seem to become lucid very frequently in shops/centres/markets so it seems i have got a dreamsign that triggers lucidity without trying which is great.

Last thing that I dreamt about was being at school. I was trying to get free pizza. In the end I think I just brought some pizza. Later I came back for some free chips that I heard everybody was talking about . But first I had to do a survey about if how ticklish you are is involved with how much rap music you listen to ( have I heard this here sometime before).

Well last night was my first night try to lucid dream... I heard about it eailer that day. so in pure excitement as i realized i was dreaming i woke each time. The good news is beacuse i remember bits and peices of each of my dreams

I am swimming in a public pool wearing a blue full piece bathing suite, which doen’t belongs to an ex best friend, and with my current group of friend and the rest of my friends. Andrew McMahon shows up and I wish I was wearing my bathing suit, I go to the diving block to dive but the diving board it slanted a lot downwards towards the water and it made it hard to dive… so I find the high dive and I ask my friend if it is safe to dive she says that it is cuz I’m only going to sink 1/3 of the depth into the water, so I dive while i`m on the broard a song that doesn`t exist about swimming is playing it`s by Jacks maniquinn and it turns in to me on a beach with Andrew wearing my bathing suit.

I dreamt that i was in my old school as i knew i would as i was thinking about it alot yesterday because i wanted to become lucid there which didn't happen but i got half of it right. i also dreamt of hanging out with old friends which is a dream sign of mine.

I dreamt i was in the sports hall of my old secondary school doing a live news report on the Thunder and Lightning there.
Next thing im in a beautiful flowery area with a bee up my noes T~T I squished it by nutting the wall O__o

Wohow, nice thread . hmm, (checking dream journal). ah, the last one was Lucid, moahaha. i was hanging in a bus in a piece of iron and then i thought, "hey, i don't use to do this, is this real"? i almost knew that it wasn't so i did the hand RC and had 5 fingers at the hand. "stupid hand" i thought, and looked at it again. "ah" now it got 6 fingers. moahaha. i let the bus go and just enjoyed the feeling of beeing high up in the air looking down at things.

Last night i dreamt that Floyd Mayweather stopped Ricky Hatton in the first few seconds of the fight and Ricky took it really well by holding up his hand which i was amazed by, i recall thinking i hope this is a dream and thankfully it was. I really should have checked though considering i thought it could be a dream.

last night i dreamt that i was with the X-Men. I had been assigned as an apprentice to a man named Specter. His power was that he could control elements. I really need to start noticing that dream sign because i've had it like 40 times.

I can only remember a few flashes. One of them was me sitting in the backseat of a car. The other was during a boxing match, i was ringside.

Hmm...

I dreamt I was driving a car with my gf beside me. We drove into a wooded area and Jason started chasing us! Damn, it was scary, but we managed to run into a small shack and held each other there, and then a genie came and saved us, haha . That was kinda funny, not to mention a relief .

I had a dream that i was a janitor in my old elemtry school and i was cleaning up the gym. nothing exciting happend i just cleaned up the gym like a regular janitor would there was no conflict or no anything. hopefully it's not procognative.

Last night I dreamed I was outside my house and I was afraid someone would see me, I don't know why. Then my dads friend wanted me to check out my hot tub, but he turned to dust and cursed his son. There were also some flashed from other dreams that I don't remember.

I went back to the 6th grade and the teacher said somthing then I said I need only this one class but then I stared to think I already graduated and right at that moment became lucid right before I woke up.

I dremt i was in class and i was giving out tickets to this concert that our school puts on yearly. they were pink and as i would hnd them out i asked the people in my class you can only take one if you bought one previsouly. so i went around and asked if they had bought 1 and everyone said yes. then i looked at the tickets and i saw that they had names of people who i was suppose to give the ticket to. So then i was like all shit now i got to get all the ticketsback. so i decided to screw that and walk home to my old house which i don't live in anymore but is right by my school. As i was walking i saw a family but with 2 moms and 3 kids playing all aorund me. I ignored it and kept on chuggin home. Then i saw my friend i asked him why was he walking home this way. i asked this because his house was the complete opposite direction. He then said i feel like talking the long way. I then pointed down a path the i told him would lead to his house so he took. it. I kept on walking homw and came to this bridge and two people that i know were fighting and the one person asked for my assitants and i tossed the other person off the bridge. Then the bridge came to an end and the only way to go to my house was to jump into the water and climb this rock solid wall that has littel shelves on it. So i jumped and attepmted to climb up. it took me about 10 trys to get all the way up the wall. Then i found my self in this room running away from this chineese person i know. I had to jump on this huge bed and fling my self up on to this headboard. I wasn't sure if eveything was bigger or if i was just smaller. But anyways i manage to do this after about 15 trys and i guess i set off an alarm in the bedrom because this teroist guy came in and started looking for me and i was hiding on top of a dreeser. then the guy that i saved in the fight came back and the terrorist took off his mask and it was the chineeese kid. He then did some crazy wrestling move on the chineese kid and the chineese kid hurt his shoulder bad and looked at his shoulder in the reflection of the t.v. that is what i dreamt about last night.

To keep it short I dreamt about two deer falling in love....weird...I must say it was a first.

And then I was lucid but I had an almost immediate false awakening so I didn't get much out of it.

My last dream was really cool. It was sort of an affirmation that my Dream Journal writing is starting to take effect.

I had this short dream (third dream that night, which is actually a record for me as far as Dream recall goes. Yay me!"

I was standing on my front lawn talking to my friend when these 3 cats comes along and starts brushing up against our feet. At first I thought it was just cute, but then they start jumping around like crazy and kind of trying to scratch us in the face. So eventually we start chasing the cats around to make them leave.

Eventually we manage to scare them off down the street. But then a neighbour of mine steps out of his front door and sees the cute little cats, so he motions them to stop running and come back.. So the cats turn around and start running back towards me and my friend again.

At that point I have a false awakening. It was SO vivid I really thought I had woken up. First thing I do is I pick up my dream journal and start scribbling in it (dont remember what I was writing. But my intention was to write down the cat dream and the previous dreams aswell). When i'm done I put the journal back down and just chill.. Then I remember more details about the dream so I open my journal again. But when I read the pages they're full with the line: "I AM DREAMING" O_O At that point I wake up for real.

There were a bunch of old ladies trapped on the roof of a building. The flood waters were rising higher and I could not figure a way to rescue them without killing them for they were quite frail and sickly.

A fragmented Everquest dream, bad recall these days. I knew I shouldn't have been playing at 3AM.

Something to do with the movie American Gangster, I think I was Denzel's old boss, or I was Denzel himself. It was like I was switching or something....
