What do you mean, "what would happen if we didn't"? |
It seems that whenever you fall off a cliff, get attacked by monsters, you name it. You wake up before you would supposedly die next in the dream. And usually death dreams never show you how the person died - just takes place in a funeral home or something - nothing dramatic as to how they died... |

"What if I were to tell u that you can take control...of all of this? Look at all these people. Seems as though they're just all chatting away? Nothing to do with u. And yet., maybe they're only here because u wanted them to. U are their god. U can make them obey u or even destroy u."

Have you ever done so or know what it's like? I'm very curious... |

I've died in some non lucid dreams. I can only remember one dream that went on after death, at the top of my head. I'm not sure how old I was when I had it, but it was during the first years of elementary school, when I and anxiety problems. |
I've never experienced that transition. But I've been dead before. Or woken up. Or fallen off a cliff and didn't get hurt. Anyway, I'm sure that if you didn't wake up you would just one second be falling off a cliff and the next you would be floating away into the sky and see your body laying on the ground... for example, that is. |
Happens to me every now and then. Usually, I will become a disembodied entity and just kinda "watch" the scene. It's like an out of body experience. I will see my body and everything around it, like I'm a ghost. Then, I will usually respawn. |

You merely have to change your point of view slightly, and then that glass will sparkle when it reflects the light.
Ive died in my dreams before...how im not sure...but all i know is that its the loneliest feeling in the world, (or rather it was to me) O.o Well that whole dream i was dead so...hardly counts |
ya i die all the time in my dreams... I'm told it mean i'm self disstructive.. but i really don't feel that way at all |
I usually go into a void (either black or white, swirling) and stay there for a few moments, then wake up. |
I aways go lucid when i die, i never wake up |
well when i want to see wat its like when i die i just wiat till i become lucid and kill myself lol it sounds pretty dramatic but normally when i do that i become like a ghost guy and scare ppl |

Dear Prudence, won't you come out to play.
Dear Prudence, greet the brand new day.
The sun is up, the sky is blue, it's beautiful and so are you.

I've died a few times in my dreams. It doesn't cause me to wake up, and I usually just end up eventually coming back. In two of them, I came back as a "ghost", but I wasn't transparent, immaterial, invisible, or whatever else we might think of ghosts to be. I gradually just rejoined the story line. |

Hey there, |
Ive experienced this many times before. |
Well i have heard that when you dream your body kind of thinks it is real, like if you fall off a cliff your heart beat rases and when you hit the ground its because its an alarm kind of thing, but if you died in your dream then your body would just shut down and you die. |
I one time died in a dream without waking up, all that happened was that i just saw black and did'nt hear anything for the rest of the dream. That was all. |
for me everything goes black for a second then i wake up. |

Our dreams are firsthand creations, rather than residues of waking life. We have the capacity for infinite creativity.
I had a dream once that I was in a jeep going up a steep mountain side. The jeep started tumbling backwards, and I knew I was going to die. The jeep landed on the top, crushing me and the other person inside it, but when it landed, there was no chaotic noise as I thought there would be. It just went black for a moment, then I found myself standing next to where the jeep had landed, but it was not there. It was a very quiet and peaceful. I continued in the dream, climbing the mountain the jeep failed to get up, and as I got to my goal and looked down, I realised I had to stay alive because my family needed me. It was the first time I'd died in a dream. |

I have the same experiences as Amethyst Star. I just reenter the scene, or redo the scene. And I have dreams about death all the time. It's because I watch a lot of gory movies. |
Yeah I have been shot and killed in a non-LD dream. weird thing about it was that I was watching myself from a third person point of view. After I saw the rounds enter my body, my vision blurred and eventually faded away into nothing. All I saw was black for a pretty long time, but eventually I woke up. It was an extremely awkward feeling... the only way I could descrbe it is that it felt like I was just a lifeless set of eyeballs, that could only see black. I had no feeling of my body being there, just my eyes. |

my gf had on dream where she died....she got her head ripped off...but she didnt feel any pain from it, it was like as soon as it happened she was just down in hell, no trasition or anything. Very strange indeed, I dont think I want to have the experience. |

Yes, I've died in plenty of dreams |
