      Can somone help?

Hello I have had continuous HI. For example i thought i woke up and picked up my cell phone and was talking to someone, but all of a sudden i woke up and i was sitting up in my bed with my hand to my ear as if i was talking to someone on my phone. Then i wondered where did my phone go?

Can someone tell me how this may be happening?

It was probably a false awakening, where you "wake up", except its actually a dream.

      Oh, sorry. That's very interesting...

Are you sure that you were awake? I know it sounds like a stupid question, but really - are you sure? Think about it - the whole thing may have been a dream.

Well when i realize the phone is not there anymore i am sitting up in my bed looking at my hand asking myself where the phone went. This has happened very much to me in different ways and i thought it was normal but now I'm beginning to question it.

      Thank You for your support!

Hmmm, it could be a form of hypnopompic hallucination. Hypnogogic hallucinations are the hallucinations between waking and dreaming, hypnopompic hallucinations are from dreaming to waking. I've heard of people saying they've seen people sitting at the end of their bed and stuff, so hallucinating a phone wouldn't be too out of whack.

it could also be a combination of a false awakening and sleepwalking. One my friend (a MAJOR sleepwalker) picked up his cell phone and called his house (all in his sleep), the ringing from the home phone woke him up and he had no idea what was happening, lol

Everything makes sense once you stop thinking about it
