Blood pouring out of my nose (or not)

I had a really weird experience the other night.

I woke up in the middle of the night and it felt like blood was pouring out of my nose, well, that or any other warm liquid.

I dashed to the bathroom to discover that there was nothing there. I checked my face in the mirror, my hands, felt my face to see if it was wet. Absolutely nothing.

Now, I know clearly the difference between awake and asleep, and I am certain that this wasn't a dream or false-awakening or anything.

Can anyone explain this strange occurence? It got me kind of freaked out.

Well you still are in the "hypnagogic state" when waking up. I didn't feel anything like that before. But I usually get visual hallucinations. If you didn't find any blood then you shouldn't worry.

I know, but I have to say it creeped me out a lot. Like I said it had never happened to me before.

once again, i will show that im wrong.. but still... bonsay - your answer is pathetic..

goldney - the thing that you now "know" the difference between being awake ( real life, being alive ) and dreaming.. - congrats... if you are curious enough, find what was making a difference between awake, and dreaming..
      no need to answer..

      I disagree

I think he's now even more confused about the difference between being awake and dreaming. He said he was surely awake, which is the reason he got creeped out.
