Dreams in earlier stages of sleep

As we all know most of the dreams we remember occur in the last cycle of sleep, so we wonder what on Earth's going on beforehand? I'd really like to hear from someone who has had a lucid in these earlier stages since hopefully they would have woken up and remembered but maybe you can remember normal dreams anyway. My hypothesis is that I think dream are a hell of a lot stranger earlier in the night. The next bit might seem to be about OBEs but don't worry I'm not straying from the topic:

I am especially interested because in April I had a series of "OBEs" spurred by my mere interest in them. I think of them just as lucid dreams now, but the ones I had in the early morning were perfectly ordinary and the ones I had in the middle of the night were loads stranger. These of course are really the only dreams I can remember from the middle of the night because I woke from them. I just wanted to check with everyone else because I'm on the verge of proving OBEs complete nonsense .

So if you can remember any dreams you had from the middle of the night (or just earlier stages of sleep), were they any stranger than ones you would have later on? I'm interested in the following features particularly:

      • Sudden blindness
        Sourceless voices
Wind sensations or other tactile/sensual distortions
        Nonsensical plot or events
        Increased dream and character randomness
OBEs and vibrations if you happen to have experienced them (earlier stages?)

Don't be put off this isn't primarily about OBEs, they are just my only experience of early dreams. Any experiences you can share with me will be much appreciated ?

Wind sensations. I get that when i attempt a wild.

Now when i say wind sensations, i dont mean i nice breeze, i mean a VERY loud wind.
Its like someone as put a vacuum on reverse, puts the end of ive over your ear, and turns it on. And because the noise is only in my head, i actually have trouble hearing myself think (if i think in words), i can actually hear the words i put togther in my head.

Hard to explain but there you are.

I hope this doesnt put anyone off wilding. It is not scary, it is awesome and such an experience.

I start to hear the inside of my body in my head, kinda hard to explain, but my heartbeat gets really loud and my breathing sounds like its in my ears.

I have to try very hard to hear my own breathing. And even my own thoughts.
