Thread: Intense feelings of dread and death from childhood

Please stick with me on this one, I'am not very good at describing things, especially dreams. It might seem a bit jumbled up

Some years ago (I was about 8 or younger) I remember having this faint, constant tapping noise in my head accompnied by this feeling I had which was like if you grabbed a stack of paper or a hardcover book with your thumb and index finger. Now I can not tell if this was a dream or real life but I just remember being absolutely terrified by these two feelings, they had dread attached to them, so I wandered around my room thinking what to do and I eventually ran downstairs and my parents were there and I just remember crying or screaming about it hysterically thinking that I was going to die and I don't remember what happened after that.

The same thing happened some years later (when I was a teenager). I couldn't get to sleep, I might have a a bit of a cold or some sort of fever I was quite hot and it happened again the tapping was like a finger nail gently tapping metal and I had the other feeling as well. I was just sat on my bed for like half an hour scared out of my wits thinking I was gonna die and that something was coming to kill me and I couldn't do a damn thing about it. Please reply I never get responses I'am sure know one could relate to this, please prove me wrong.
