Thread: repeating actions

Ok so I had this dream the other night where I realized i was dreaming but I wouldn't really call it being lucid. Here's what happened in the dream. I was laying in my bed and my buddy kept walking out of my closet then walked out my bedroom door. he did this like 10 times. eventually I realized it was a dream but then I woke up. Just wondering does this mean I am becoming closer to being lucid or was it just a chance occurance? I was actually excited but the next few days no more dreams like this.

Actually you did have a lucid dream, because a lucid dream means that you know you are dreaming. Good job and good luck.

Though actually that's a pretty interesting DS. I know that I had a dream two days ago where I was in a goblin compound being hunted by the monsters. Everytime they caught me I would think "Dang! I'd better start over at the beginning!" And the chase would ensue again. It was kinda like restarting on a videogame or something.

I think it's when your brain is trying to make sense of things... When it's not using outside information, it's free to scroll back and forth in time of the dream... It is an interesting dreamsign indeed!

... Actually, I catch myself doing that in evenings o_< My mind wanders, and then if someone in my imagination says something, I imagine the voice in my head say the line... Sometimes if I'm tired, the line just repeats and repeats and repeats untill I catch me doing it!

Hmm, maybe I should RC when I catch myself doing that...

If you think about it, what we are all actually doing with RC's kinda relates to looking for a "glitch in the matrix"! We just have to find something that is slightly off and realize we're dreaming.

I just got a picture of Neo looking all cool, then suddenly pinching his nose and breathing in, then looking surprised and finally do the crouch-wave-jump-fly thing. xP
