That sounds beautiful. Too bad you can't take photos of your dreams and bring them to the real world. |

what ive been noticing is that the places in my dreams look cooler than they do in real life, like places that cannot be created by technology, nature, or architecture in any way.(im not gay i have a girlfriend) One of the places ive seen in recurring dreams is a large floating tower made mainly of glass levitationg up through the clouds into the heavens, with a thin transparent waterfall surrounding it gleaming in a beatiful rainbow sky, with titanic unkown planets peeking through the wonderous atmosphere, im standing on a levitating platform of metal with the earth 2000 feet below me and the tower about 100 feeet above me, it was marvelous. |

if i could paint i'd show you, could you tell me the most beautiful places in yours? |
I have been at some beautiful beaches, with fine sand and sunshine. Not to mention the forests I sometimes visit in my dreams, with beautiful green trees, the colors are so beautiful that they seem realistic and unreal at the same time. It's sunny and bright, and it feels warm. I'm usually riding a horse through this forest. |
Impossible and intriguing structures and landscapes like the ones you describe are very common in my dreams, but unfortunately when I'm not lucid I usually do not take the time to appreciate them. In fact, I typically hardly notice them until I'm recalling them in retrospect. On the other hand, some of my lucid dreams have gotten so hyperrealistic that even commonplace settings such as my backyard seemed extraordinary. |
Those sound like gorgeous places, silicovolcaniosis. |
sounds like really nice places everyone, its hard to imagine to see such in waking life |
My favourite place from recently was a desert full of ruins. There were buildings from Rome, Greece, Mexico, and Egypt. |
I've had no LD or NLD that have had beautiful locations :/. |
last night i saw a subway train surrounded by transparent windows that traveled from a colorful vibrant ocean to the bright heavens... in the middle of the dream i got lucid and noticed it wasnt real, damn... |
I once was on a skyscraper and it was damn awesome. It wasn't so big you wouldn't see anything that's on the ground, but it was high enough to overlook everything. I could see all the downtownn area, the suburbs and the outer rural areas until the shore. It was great. The air up there was warm and there was only a little wind, I was standing freely on top of it, not some platform, but just on top. It was really the most stunning dream picture I ever experienced and I really long to get there again, maybe in an LD. |
The most wonderful place in my dream was a prehistoric lake with simmering waters and water dinosaurs. |
My favorite was one I will never forget. Going deep in my neighborhood. The streets and intersection start becoming grassy. I reach the center of m y neighbor hood an there it is. Sparly faries hovering in the night sky. The grass and sunset color mist. It seems as if earth lit up the night sky. There was a big tree, and from it birds chirped magnificant tunes, I see a gate I go in side it, at its a hot spring. Many people are in it. We no negativity. All I could see, hear, and smell was happiness. |
I literally cannot describe some of the landscapes I have seen in my dreams. And when I think too hard about them, I bring them more to reality and then their beauty fades. What I can say though, however, is that my dreams are often associated with graveyards, school grounds, deserts, pyramids, and my old neighborhood. |

I recently had a dream where I was in this park and I was swinging in the swing. I noticed the sky was grey, just when the sunlight is going down. In the park their was little cities in the hills which made the park seem really mysterious. The sky turned into multiple color lights, it was like the sky was in crystal lights with green, blue, yellow, and different colors. It made the cities come to life, and I thought to myself it would have made a wonderful picture. |
Well I can't even describe it was beautiful. I couldn't even draw it. |

^ Dream Journal^
Goals:
Remember my dreams a week strait
Have more than 10 LD's in a month
Have 2 LD's on my futon instead of my bed
I must agree that it feels very sad that you can't bring the videos and photos back to Real Life. |

The other night I saw a thin gnarled tree that was all shades of pink, red, and purple. It has no leaved, but had many flower buds, like in spring. Some buds were open, and each held a small candle. The flowers were red and whispy, tropical looking. It was dark so the flowers were glowing red, casting dancing shadows. Then the tree started to burn -- but without flames. The tips of the branches began to glow orange, yellow, then white hot, the fire spreading inward to the trunk and roots. Then quickly, the burned parts disolved into drifting clouds of grey ash and smoke -- while the rest of the tree was still burning. Amazing! |

last night, I recall being in a park that resembled the one a block from my house, at the park I sat down on a bench with my friend T. we sat there for what seemed like hours watching trees and bushes morph and slowly change colors. after waking up and thinking about the dream, I realized it was exactly what me and him endured on our last mushroom trip together. weird but exciting. |

In my most vivid LD, I created a clearing in a forest and increased the clarity until it was way past what it would ever be in real life, and I just looked at the grass and little particles of moisture on them... it was magical |
