My favorite dream of recent is one that had no difinitive boundaries, in any way really. It was much like the movie fusion reborn, after Janemba distorts the dimensions. Not quite sure how to explain this one... I guess all who've seen the movie should know. EDIT: Well now I feel stupid. The picture in my sig is right out of the movie... See the background, a haze of indeterminable distance, well it was like that everywhere. I don't even remember there being any sort of ground, only some sort of battle, and I was Janemba. I was with someone else, and something transformed us both into demons like him and thereafter we could munipulate the world around us to any detail. Though the transformation itself was nothing but enraging. I could feel what I had become and set out to destroy who had given me the very power I was using to try and find it. Though I had no avail. So I settled on a unprovoked battle with my companion. Sadly I do not remember the outcome...

Second, In this dream I remember it was right before sunset. And despite the light I could see every damn star in the sky. I was standing on a shale outcropping amidst a vast prarie with swamps embedded sporadicly accross the scene. At the distance there were snowcapped mountains, it was like all the best parts of Wyoming. Only hyper detailed and more beauty mashed into a scene then i've ever seen.

I've never had a dream where everything was beautiful, it always looks like RL things, crappy houses and all.

Some dream I had that was really unclear. I remember two people laying on a huge piece of ice. Not far away from them there was a huge hole in the ice, leading down into an even huger, dark-blue cave with those icy spikes hanging down.

Later I saw something about these same people sliding down the ice (mountain, apperantly) on their jackets. Now that I think about it (& fill in empty spaces) it looked quite beautiful. Especially the cave in the hole. I can just imagine the echo that would be in there!

Always stunning nature scenes, sunsets especially in all of my dreams that have then are something i love to just sit and stare at when I'm lucid.
Architecture too, I remember In my first lucid (3 or so years ago) we were driving down the street in an old model T ford that drove itself, and all the big down town buildings were multi colored, blues and greens and oranges, and in strange geometric shapes, trapezoids and rhombuses. fantastic.

      I'll always remember these two:

The first was my first successful WILD. I found myself in a house made entirely of glass, and I could see a blue sky with fluffy white clouds over head, the sun was shining. In three directions there was rolling green hills, and the fourth direction had a beach with palm trees along its coast. Totally breath-taking.

The second, I was standing on the deck of a small pleasure boat, watching a 'meteor-shower' of tiny meteors that moved in slow motion. Suddenly, everything froze in time, and I could see the world in ultra-violet light. I turned towards the sunset, and saw the rays of ultra violet light speeding out of the sun. It was incredible. I really have no other words to describe it. Just, the essence of beauty in nature.

I know exactly what your talking about. I would say the most common place for me would be nature scenes..Anything really outdoors. The trees especially are so colourful and descriptive. Everything just seems so vibrant and clear. Truly stunning.

wow, sounds great to imagine these places in my head.

last night i had a dream about a humongous building 5000 feet tall and i went inside and it had the whole city of san francisco inside, it was breathtaking because even alcatraz was inside, never had i seen such large depth and perception in my dreams. it was so vivid i remember seeing the roof of the building and seeing it painted like the sky with clouds and seeing the transamerica pyramid slightly taller than every other building

I live in the city, and the most beautiful secenery was during a LD when I looked out of my window and saw this amazing tropical rain forest... it was weird though, cuz there were trees that looked like bananna trees except the leaves were bright red.

The most wonderful places i dreamt of were, one a starlit field that had elves and faeries dancing in a circle around a purple and blue fire, on the full moon,on midsummer's eve,and the other was my house.

Yes For me it's nature scenes as well. I have a particularly nice grassy hill with a road that dissapears into the distance. (this probably has some subtext). But whenever it comes up I feel very peaceful.

Indeed that sounds amazing, I particularlly like the one with the plants. For me the most beautiful thing I have ever seen was this....
I was in a log cabin and the entire inside was bathed a blue light I had never seen before, almost as if it was outside the spectrum of normally visible light. and the walls of the cabin were made out of hundreds of galaxies the size of dinner plate arranged in neat little rows. All of them were rotating very slowly. Then I went to the door and when I opened it I saw that the cabin was in orbit around the earth and I was staring down into the eye of a hurricane with the eye of a another massive hurricane.

Funnily enough, one of my recurrent dreaming place share many similarities with this one. I think that might be because people associate something with towers, some dream symbol I do not know about. in my dreams, that tower is overlooking the whole dream plane.

I was in kind of this hilly region and sitting on a path that crossed over all the hills looking up at the sky. In the sky was this castle/city thing that was luminescent and kind of a transparent green just glowing and blending in with the stars and the moon
      it was awesome

I remember in one dream, I had a dream (a dream inside of a dream!). And in that second dream, I stepped outside the house onto the porch and it was just before sunrise, dark enough so that the surrounding buildings were pitch black, but the sky was this ethereal blend of deep purples and such. It was quite pleasing to the eye.

I drew a sort of slapdash picture of it (hooray for MS paint! ), which I'll probably post when I decide to post my dream journal.
