Thread: technology in dreams

sometimes i dream of a new thing thats really cool. when i wake up i want to make it, but then i just... forget?

Technology and electronic devices are excellent dream signs because they will often not work or act up on you in the strangest ways when dreaming. For example, last night I dreamed I was commenting on someone's Facebook from my computer. It was just a "hey, man, whats up?" pretty much, but what was actually posted was some obscure and (I think) meaningless word that didn't make much sense to me. Too bad I didn't think of doing a reality check because I would have been lucid. Just reality check often when dealing with electronic devices and you are sure to eventually realize that you are, in fact, dreaming.

I often dream of the Internet being a real, three-dimensional location. For example, I once went to eBay and instead of a website it was like an outdoors marketplace. In another dream, the Internet was represented by a sort of locker room. I often enter rooms when "surfing" the Internet in my dreams, or interact with websites (guestbooks, etc.) in a three-dimensional manner--reaching out and turning pages, stepping into them, etc. In one dream, I left messages on a person's site by writing things in a book--a real book.

I cannot for the life of me get phones to work properly in my dreams, but I never go lucid, I just throw a fit.

Interesting dreams

I occasionally have a dream where I start out playing a GTA-like videogame, but I ultimately wind up in the game.

technology? I've had success with a phone but that's all I can think of. I hardly ever see technological stuff in my dreams.

Haha my phone once turned into MSN! That was pretty cool. Or when I tried to replace the battery, it had three of them inside! I also saw a car with 5 wheels once, that was pretty weird too. And this one time I was at the sea, and they had a new attraction, it was like a volcano of water. It looked like an erupting volcano, but it was pure water and you could jump on it and you would get propelled reallllly far away into the sea. That was awesome, but kinda scary ^^
