Songs When Waking Up?

Ok, so when I wake up, every day there is a song that is stuck in my head. It changes every day, and no mastter what its in my head all day. Has anyone else ever had that happen constantly?

This doesn't happen to me very often. It seems like the song has to be part of the story for me to remember it. A while back, I had a dream with a song from the movie "Once." It was a sweet dream, and when I woke up I could still hear the song in my head.

I am woken up by the radio, so generally whatever song is playing while I doze for a minute or two is what ends up in my head, even if it's the first time I've heard it. Sometimes it gets cancelled out though, by whatever I listen to walking to school. Since then I listen to my iPod, I know the song better, so sometimes I end up whistling that the whole day

The only music I ever listen to is my truck radio and it's been on the same country station since I started driving it. I've never owned anything that played any music except an alarm clock/radio which I never used the radio on. I frequently wake up thinking I'm hearing a song from a radio. I almost wandered if I'm not picking up radio waves from somewhere in my sleep. Maybe it's the giant 50' antenna this house uses to get tv channels. When I'm finally completely awake and start moving the song goes away. I can recall it but it's a bit more normal then instead of actually sounding like I'm hearing someone singing it.

I have a similar thing happen when I'm falling asleep. For a good 2-5 minutes before I'm totaly asleep I hear songs playing in my head that I have never heard before and then never hear again. It can be just a single horn or a whole jazz band sometimes, and I can pick out each individual part as the whole thing plays. ( I hope that doesn't mean I'm nuts)

I've had this happen, in various forms. Sometimes it would just be some track, and then I would find upon reflection at the end of the day that the song actually related very directly to the events of the day. In another form, it would be music I had never heard before, so I would make it when I woke up (I produce my own music). This happened to me fairly recently with a piece of string based music. Nice. Some of my favourite pieces of music have come out of Dreams.

That happened to me today. I woke up singing Flux by Bloc Party. I think thats why I didn't remember any dreams.

Every single day, but that might be because i listen to my ipod before i go to sleep.

Nope, that has never happened to me yet . A few times I heard songs in my dreams but I could never remember them after I woke up. I'm gonna try inventing something of my own .

Sometimes randomly and sometimes it was incorporated into the dream right before I woke up. I'm actually trying to turn a certain song into a dream sign. I might start hating it before it starts showing up in my dreams, though

Doesn't happen to me very often, but it does happen. I think the most recent occurrence had me with Foreclosure of a Dream by Megadeth stuck in my head upon waking. Actually, that may have been after the dream where I taught my dad how to play the main riff to that song.
