      What is WRONG with me?

Whatever I do, I seem to have the most boring dreams about it. For example, if I spend all day reading a 400 page epic novel, instead of dreaming about being in it and being part of the action, I'll maybe dream about reading it again, with the words changed around.Or if I spend the whole day feeling excited about going to Germany,(I'm going to Germany next week) then instead of dreaming about being there and having fun, I'll maybe dream about German grammer.Or if I've been talking to someone online, instead of dreaming about seeing them Irl, I'll dream they leave me a random comment or something. It's so annoying, it almost makes me lose interest in LD sometimes And I rarely remember to RC in dreams nowadays, either, even though I do it IRL. Is there any way I can fix this??
I will try very hard not to say anything stupid. But be warned that this does not always work!

It seems that in some part of your mind you don't want to have such dreams. You should try to analyse what you dream about, that could help. Have fun in Germany, hope the weather is better by then, now it`s lots of rain. ^^

I've been through phases of having mundane dreams like that. And phases of being bored by what I am dreaming about.

If I'm having mundane dreams, I analyse them anyway, think about them and just take it that my subconscious is digesting reality right now in a straight forward way.

If I'm bored with dreams, then I bother with writing them down less for a while. Take time out to watch late night films and stuff. After a while I find they catch my interests again.

Maybe you need to loosen up in your daily life??

I have crazy dreams, lucid or not. I'm really trying to get my recall up, because I'll wake up remembering a few vivid bits of the dream, and really wishing I knew what happened in the rest of it.

Ah, the mundane dream. That is something I'm quite familiar with. While the topics and events may be a little interesting, I'm always dreaming I'm at home or school. But hey, don't lose interest in LD's, because if you go lucid you can go anwhere you want.

I think reading is one of the most exciting things you can do in a dream. Were you really reading the text? If so, awesomeness!
