      Dream Emotion

Every time I think about my dreams or me dreaming, there's always this eerie connotation to it, not that I don't like it - I love it - but it's so mysterious and compelling. I feel like dreaming is such an important part of life, most people just take it for granted it seems.

People ask me why I sleep in as late as I do - It's mainly not because I'm still tired but because I've been dreaming, I hate waking from a dream, especially if I like it.

After I saw waking life I realized how amazing dreaming is. I sort of stopped to appreciate what dreaming is.

I feel the same way, Sony. Sometimes I daydream that I'd like to move somewhere remote for a couple of months with just my hubby and sleep and dream and journal those dreams as much as I can.

Because dreams are so important to me, and because I've read in several sources now that the more attention you start paying to dreams the more you recall - I try to keep a dream journal and put aside some time each morning to attempt to recall the content of what I dreamed about last night.

Often, the meanings of my dreams are not clear and often I wonder if they have a meaning at all or are just part of my poor eating habits before bedtime. But one thing I know for sure, I really adore them and the places I go after dark when I sleep (and the people I meet).

Nice to meet a fellow dreamer!

Very beautifully put both of you. I feel the same way about my dreams. They are a very important part of my life and I'm so glad to have found a community that shares the same values as i do.

I am also daydreaming about leaving the hustle bustle and sailing around the world. Can you imagine the dreams I would have then?

Everything about this realm excites me and I can't wait to see how well I can hone my skills at choosing what I dream about.

Dreaming whilst traveling is amazing. I went to Europe for two months and the dreams I had while I was staying in Hostels were absolutely far out. They were far different from the dreams I normally have and a hell of a lot more exciting, too. I was traveling with one of my friends and the funny thing is every time I had a dream he was there with me.

Over three years ago, when I began to learn about lucid dreaming, I felt the same way. Dreams were exhilarating back then to me; a mysterious world in my head. That's what kept me motivated for about a year. Unfortunately, now I only see it as another life I experience while I sleep.

I think it's because I've been severely lacking in lucidity lately, which kinda caused a chain reaction to my motivation for it.

Sounds like my experiences.. I feel emotions in dreams I never felt in this world. The adventures of fantasy, future, and your D/Cs just attatch you to this world, you may regard more myserious, and compelling then ours.
