more dream control than i wanted...

      hi to everybody here,

yesterday something very strange happened to me - i found out about this website, read a lot about dream control, induction techniques, etc.

i read about that thing where you would convince yourself to wake up after every dream or even set an alarm to wake up regularly and write down what you dreamt. i actually decided to NOT do that because sleeping through the night is more important to me than recording my dreams and i decided not to try to train for LD anyway. (but i did plan to try and record my dreams after a full night of sleep more often though - because first of all, i love how you can learn about what you truly fear and hope for and secondly, as i'm "kind of an artist", it's amazing what kind of crazy input you get from those things )

but then... i didn't even give the whole LD subject any more thought on that day but during the night, i think i did wake up after almost every dream i had - three times! in total i think there were five dreams... the first two ones were consecutive ones and i thought to myself "well, since i'm already up, i might just write them down as well" but when waking up after the fourth i was like "this is getting ridiculous, i simply read about that stuff, i didn't even want to do it!".

if i wasn't a sound sleeper, i wouldn't give it much thought but it actually only happened once during my whole life that i snapped out of a dream without any external influence. and now three times within one night?

i have to say that's slightly freaking me out. i mean i'm not really worried, after all... who knows if it will even happen again tonight. but i nevertheless wanted to tell that story because i thought it was pretty weird and this forum was the source
