Could anyone give me adive on this dream?

      Hi.
I had this dream about two two years ago
when me and my mom had just moved into our now apartment.

      here it is...

I had a dram that I was a little girl about the age of 7.
It was in a past time.
I was going on a trip with my class
I'm guessing it was a privet school
being that I was with a group of young girls.
There was also a teacher with us.

We arrived at a large two story home
and we entered through the front door,
they had a stairway that lead upward.
      We walked up the stairs,
when we reached the upper floor there was door
      that lead to the backyard,
so we walked out to the back,
it was almost as if we hadn't just walked up a flight of stairs.

In the backyard there was body of water,
I would have to say it looked like a swampy body of water.

there at the edge of the backyard leading to the water
there was a small boat more like a canoe.
There we all boarded the small boat.

From there we were lead into the middle of the water
were there stood two giant stone fists that were coming out of the water.
There we watched as older men stood on top of the fists.

All of the men were afraid of heights
and they had to make a choice.
They had to choose to either jump of the fists right away
      taking there chances on survival,
or they could choose to wait untill
the fist when down under the water
maybe giving them a better chance of living through the experience.

We watched as multiple men made their choices.
Some men chose to get over their fear and just jump,
      those men survived.
The others chose to wait it out and not jump,
they would go under water along with the fists,
those men never came up from under the water.

After we watched all the men do that,
we went back to the backyard.
We re entered the house from the back door
that once again lead us to the top of the stair case.
Right before we began to walk down the stairs
I looked to the right of me
and there I saw a missing poster with my (the little girls)
      face on it.
Right after that happened it was like I switched from
      being that little girl
to one of the other little girls,
after I switched bodies I looked up at the little girl
I was before and her eye's were glowing,
I suddenly afraid and ran down the rest of the stairs,
after we all got out of the house
we all loaded up to go back to the school.
As we started going I realized that the little girl
I was before was gone, missing.

And that was the end of the dream and I woke up.
I have not been able to get this one dream out of my head
      since I had it,
      and I don't understand why.
I just want to know what the possible meaning of this dream might be.

Please if anyone can give me some advise let me know.

I'm not very good at dream interpretation (nor am I completely convinced I believe in it anyway), but this site has a handy little box in the top right corner that you can type significant objects into. I would suggest, "boat" "water" "stairs" "girls" "fists" "old men" etc.

I'm no professional but I can toss some ideas your way

The pack of little girls might represent your comfort zone, maybe embodying the friends you left behind when you moved?
The teacher might be your mother, leading you one way or another but it didn't seem like she played a big role in the dream so it might have just been a connection between a group of young girls need a chaperon. Also the age difference between the dream and your current age could mean that you, on some level, associated moving to a new place with maturing or growing up and your brain probably had a 50/50 chance of creating you either as older or younger.

Stairs usually mean a journey or moving up in some way, so wild guess, did your mom move for a job or to get away from something? Then the stairs would likely mean you thought you might be making progress towards a better life.
The canoe supports the second reasoning behind the stairs as it's more than likely symbolising a journey. Did you want to move? If you didn't then that explains the swampy boat ride
The fists seem to represent the actual change and choices you had to make before moving, and what you left behind, where the men played the role of each particular choice. The men's age and gender I'm guessing is related to a relative? Or boss, someone close?

And then when leaving the brain seemed to be predicting what it would be like for the people you left when you moved. You just vanished, or so your brain perceived it to be that way.
The glowing eyes I have no explanation for. Maybe you watched/thought/read about a scary movie or "demonic phenomenon" before you fell asleep?
And then finally life went on and the little girls got in the bus and rode back to school without the lost little girl.

That's my reasoning anyway. Moving is usually a big event in someone's life even if they don't think it is. That and I've heard about dreams similar to yours from other people who have moved. Not exactly like yours but around the same basic feelings and theme.

But honestly...all there is to understanding your dreams is trying to connect symbolism with real life events, and you have to understand that the brain fires off random images into dreams that might skew the whole perception of it. One symbol might mean ten different things at once too.

For example the group of school girls might mean friends, comfort, safety, religion (usually catholic), schools private/religious, normalcy, blandness, no real way to stand out of a crowd, different feelings, innocence, fun...the list is endless. Dreams are very personal things and if you take time to sit down and really study the symbols in the dream then you'll probably find a link between your dream life and real life you never thought about before.
I'm not like most of the world, and I don't care. I didn't ever have Heros. I had ideals. Belief's about how things should be, how I should live my life. My hair reaches below my middle back, piercings and tattoo's about my beliefs abound. The essence of who I am makes me a wild thing, even among the radicals and social rebels, and I don't care what the world thinks. But I wonder if I'm too wild for my one wave...
