Thread: Cat Came Back

I wasn't really going to go all out asking for opinions on this but its been bugging me all day. And here recently I've been having all kinds of weird dreams.

Anyways, the story first:

I had a black cat, named Messy, for about ..4-6 yrs? not really sure. But about 4 weeks ago or so I got to watch him die, in my arms. I knew for months something was wrong with him, my parents wouldn't believe me till I was sitting on the floor crying holding my dead cat in my lap.

Yeah, not a fun story.
But it kinda of affected me, a lot.. watching something die in your hands and not being able to do anything.

Anyways to the dream:

I was at my old house (lived there about 6 yrs ago) in the back yard playing basketball, my parents were playing around planting stuff, fixing the back yard.. and my dad was digging though the bushes and I heard my mom screaming/cheering. I turned to look and my dad was holding my cat (Messy) and they were freaking out and we came to realized the cat we buried was somehow not him. Anyways my cat jumped out of his hands and ran over to me and jumped into my arms like some chick who was head over heels for me. I was hugging him and holding him tight and he started licking me on my lips/face which is awkward for a cat to do and I don't know what happen then, I guess I started waking up..

It snapped to me that it was all fake, like to good to be true. But I was crying and so happy and holding him so tight, I knew it was a dream but I didn't wanna let go of him, of the dream.. I soon snapped out.

Woke up shaking and in tears wishing so badly I had someone in bed with me to grab.



Now I don't know if this dream is about the cat or simply the fact that I'm sick of being single. Yet after waking up from that I was wanting another cat. ..but the reason I was more concerned with the dream is later in the day I was out with my dad and brother, stores and stuff and we went over to my grandparents house. We pulled up and there was a black cat, about the same size of mine sitting on their porch. And as soon as we pulled up and I saw it, it was looking straight at me, didn't look away. Gave me chills.

My dad even said out loud "..look hes even got white on his chest." (just like my cat). The I got out and the cat ran off. And I was just.. speechless.


So yea I don't know, coincidence?
