Thread: Dream Character's Advise on Dream Recall

That is what we all suggest.

Write down every little thing you remember. It will help a lot.

Never had a DC tell me to do it before, though.

a lot of the time dreams tell us stuff that we know already, but its just not on the conscious level. seems like you are trying to tell yourself to write every detail. and yes it helps a lot. especially for dream signs.

Ok so basically i only started a dream journal a few days ago but managed to get 7 dreams recorded so far.
Last night i remembered 3 dreams, i dont remember in full just main points of the dream. I write down the main points of my dreams and underline main points of them with notes to describe why ive took notice of them, such as reccuring points ive had in other dreams and good dream signs ect.

1 of my dreams last night, i was in a football tournament with some friends..it was friends i know in real life so was hard to spot that i was dreaming on that part but im not sure if it was inbetween or at the end of one of these dream matches i was having but i was sat in a room and there was a DC sat with me, he was on a chair with glasses and paper on a clipboard.
He looked like a psychiatrist.
he handed me a video recorder but then he said "write down every detail and dont just write down small notes" Then i woke up, now first thing i thought was my dream journal its exactly what i do write down small notes that appeal to me not the whole thing, just a coincidence or maybe trying to help me with the journal not sure but thought maybe other people had had same experiences or just to see what people generally think about it.

Like Delphinus said, that is what you should be doing in the first place. But it is the ultimate reinforcement being told by the guy who knows it best.
