      Dream Characters

      I remembered eight more very clear dreams last night, and I'm starting to notice something about my dream characters.

      Most of the time my dream characters act in a way seemingly independent of my own dream perception, acting in their own way as I observe them.

      However occasionally a dream character will be talking, or doing something, and rather than me observing them, I will kind of perceive the dream world through their eyes, however they still have controll over their actions. I know that my dream characters are actually my own mind, however I never noticed this occurrence until last night.

      Does this happen to anyone else, and does this mean anything as far as my dream awareness in concerned?

      Yep.

      Happens to me at times. Not often lately, though.

      As for awareness... You could obviously realize "Hey... This isn't normal." Seems an easy situation if it happens often enough.

      That's happened to me almost all the time throughout the '90s. In books I'm writing, some of the dream characters I've seen are actually main characters in them. In the 2000s, however, most of them have had striking resemblances to TV and movie stars, musicians, athletes, etc., up to 2008-09 (now). A dream character I saw from 1994 is actually the older sister of a writer in one of them I wrote. I had one just last week where I drove(?) a character resembling Shawn Spencer from USA Network's Psych to his destination to catch a killer, too. Wow...
