Thread: Smoking

The other day I was dreaming that I was smoking...

Now i've never so much as touched a cigarette in real life. In my dream then I couldn't taste anything, I just really enjoyed the cigarette's (I had two on the go at the same time!)

Shortly after this dream I woke up and when I sat up in bed, I really wanted to cough, I did and then when I was getting dressed I coughed a couple more times. I felt quite worried and then stopped what I was doing and said 'Look, it was just a dream' and I was fine afterwards.

Was my body telling me that must cough because I was smoking, and somehow the closeness of the dream ending and me getting up blurred the reality of it all to my brain?

P.S - The no taste element of the dream. Is that just a simple case of my brain having no idea what a cigarette taste's like?
