Is this SP or at least its onset

last night when I went to bed after laying there for a while my feet and legs suddenly felt very heavy the sensation did not really advance further than that, also i felt an urge to twitch my feet. i was wonder if this was SP or not because usally people say they feel a vibrating sensation during SP.

      Hi,
certainly sounds like the slow onset of sleep paralysis.
Sleep paralysis is when your brain has totally lost your body image and is supressing motor movement
      ALL MOTOR MOVEMENT
i.e. you can't move at all, cos (amazingly enuff) you're paralysed
It can be a bit frightening, but, your brain does it to you EVERY night but you're usually unconscious and don't notice it at all.
      so, yes, slow onset.
Just relax and let it happen.
Next step should be dream world if you have a little patience.
As for vibrations ... I have vibration feelings (swishing up and down my body) but your experience coudl be totally different.
      so, don't worry about it..

      Ill highjack this post somewhat.

Im also having a hard time identifying what's a sleep paralysis. I thought for the longest time I just didn't experience this, but the other day, all the symptom seemed to appear.

I felt heavy, felt some kind of presence in my room, something evil too. I couldn't move. Surely you would class this as a SP without the shadow of a doubt as a SP, but what's to follow confused me. When I realized I was paralyzed, I thought, MOVE, and I willed myself to do so. Surely, this cannot be True SP, since I was able, through willpower, to move

I guess this was just another bad dream, putting this out for thought.
