I have no idea, maybe it became a fad for a lot of people during that time. Or everyone just had really good/ interesting/ scary dreams the night before and jumped online all at once. |

I noticed at the bottom of the main page on the forum that the most users ever online was a whopping 800-900 people! Now that's busy. I wonder what caused such dream interest in 2007 that caused all this interest in LDing? Why aren't people still as interested and what can we do to get people more interested? |

Site originated in 2002, forum in 2003. I believe my dates are right in that. |

My guess is that some sort of cultural phenomenon might have encouraged people to explore and learn more about dreaming. However, it probably just originated out of sheer whim. |

J'ai une ame solitaire.
I think Attack of the Show did a segment on LDing in '07, taunting viewers with beautiful women that they could in fact get "in their dreams" |
