      Accidental WILD?

Ok so last night I woke up to use the bathroom and I went back to bed. I tossed and turned for a while because I couldn't go back to sleep. Then all of the sudden I was in an LD. I was weird thought because every time I LD I am already in the dream and do my RC. But I eventually lost lucidity and I became just a normal dream. Has this every happened to anyone? If so, how can I do it again??

it could've been an accidental V-WILD kind of thing. sometimes when i'm laying in bed late in the morning i have a spontaneous static image appear in front of me. definitely not like a normal dream - the image is just there, i'm looking at it, and there's no motion. the other day this happened and i used my willpower to start flying and bring motion to the vision/dream.

take a look at the V-WILD tutorial and see if you can get the timing right to repeat that

Can you put up a link to that thread? cause I looked and couldn't find it. But Idk this dream just started out of no where. I was skating in an empty pool with 2 people. Weird thing is that I wasnt even thinking about skating while I was in bed....

Red face Happens to me all the time...

yes! I often have LD's that happen without trying or already being in a dream and realizing. Actually its quite common for it to happen to me after I wake up to use the bathroom or get up for something else then try to get back to sleep. My brain will go from being fully awake one second to being in a full on LD the next second. It feels kinda like stepping into a TV set-well anyways thats how I usually explain it to people who have never had a LD and dont know the feeling! It does take a whole lot of energy out of me when it happens and I feel really strong vibrations in my brain that I cant control which was certainly scary the first time it happened! If I dont have the energy then I do my best to sit up and take a few deep breaths then a drink of water and it usually goes away. As long as I have time and energy I just let it happen. One thing to try is to roll off the bed and fall through the floor.....let me know if you manage it, its quite a rush of energy! Take Care!
It does not do to dwell on dreams, and forget to live
