      I think my brain doesnt want me to lucid dream

      So I became very interested in lucid dreaming this summer. Learned a few tricks and was able to pull it off. After doing it numerous times my dreams are becoming more realistic. I recall my dreams every night, but when I do there's nothing odd about them. I remember holding normal conversation and doing everyday activities. Maybe my brain doesn't want me too?

      Ask your subconscious nicely to let you lucid dream occasionally?

      It actually worked for me, I wasn't having any LDs, and then I asked my subconscious if I could have a lucid dream. I woke up five times that night because I realized I was dreaming.

      I don't exactly lucid dream; but I do remember my dreams with extraordinary clarity. I dream of ordinary everyday things too. Maybe I ought to get more adventurous in my dreams. If you can actually lucid dream, you can work for dream control. Then, you will be able to have the dreams of your choice.

      The only times that I can remember in my dreams where everything is very normal and my day plays out verymuch like it might in real life is during a false awakening after I try to WILD.
      So maybe you are having something similar.
      I would suggest doing reality checks in real life everytime one of these everyday life things happens, the things that make your dream seem so normal. And then you may remember to reality check during your seemingly rralistic dream. if any of that made much sense...
