Thread: Strange similarities between IRL people and DCs?

I've always been fascinated with dream characters. My favourite thing about dreaming is talking to and interacting with the various characters in my dreams. Most of the time, these dcs are people I've never seen before. I rarely dream about people I know such as friends or family. And, if I do, they always look different. Anyway, my favourite dream consisted of this

I was walking down an unfamiliar road not sure where I was heading or where I had come from. It was an overcast day and it was lightly raining. Everything smelled really fresh like it usually does during and after raining. Everything was crisp and clear. I didn't have anything on my mind as I walked. I stopped when I saw a guy on the sidewalk looking at me. Something compelled me toward him. He looked about 19 (I was probably 14 at the time). He was wearing a black windbreaker and blue jeans. His dark hair was short, but messy and had a slight wave to it. He had a scruffy, but thin beard...I guess more like overgrown stubble than a beard. Either way...without hesitation I walked up, jumped into his arms and kissed him. He definitely had the breath (taste) of a smoker. I drew away after while he was still holding me. He grinned and I woke up.

I felt like he was really important, but I didn't know why. I felt like he was a stranger, but I still had strong feelings for him. Strange thing is that I think I know this guy! I'm now almost 19 and in college. This semester and last I've had classes with a guy so much like the one in my dream. He completely fits the description down to the smoking and stubble. His signature look is a black windbreaker and jeans. Just everything about him fits. He doesn't say much, which makes me all the more curious. He didn't/doesn't talk to anyone in the classes. I'm too nervous to go up to him. I've noticed him glance in my direction a few times, but maybe it's just false hope

Anyway, do you guys have any interesting stories about meeting dcs in waking life? I just wish I asked the DC what his name was!
