      And no, its definitely not retarded. I've had some extremely strong emotions in dreams. I once dreamt that I was in love with a DC. She kissed me and when she smiled my heart melted. I was really in love with her. I felt terrible when I woke up, like I had really lost someone precious.

      Once I had a really strong connection with a DC that represented someone I like in real life, but of course he was so much better because my mind created him. I always try to bring him back when I LD, but I find I can never re-create him perfectly like he was in that dream. He had a mind of his own. At one point in the dream he asked me "Am I even real?" And I actually cried in the dream because I felt so bad that he wasn't real and he knew I had just made him up for the purpose of the dream, but he actually comforted and told me "it's only as real as it feels" and made me touch everything around me to prove how real it could be, he even made me smell things! and he said "this is as real as it's going to get until we wake up, so let's make the most of it". I'm going to keep trying until I can bring him back!
