Thread: Was this a false awakening?

OK, something weird happened last night... I woke up early in the morning, which I sometimes do, and wrote down some keywords in my notebook, so I could remember the dreams I had and write them down in more detail later. Then I went back to sleep and had some more dreams. The next time I woke up, I looked in my notebook and the keywords weren't there! Did I have a false awakening, and not really write anything at all? If it was a false awakening, it was a very realistic one. I can't remember for certain what the keywords were, one of them might have been candyfloss although that doesn't jog my memory of any dreams I had. It is possible that I might have really woken up early in the morning, thought about writing down keywords, and then fallen back to sleep before I got round to it, but somehow I don't think so.
