      Will taking sleeping meds affect lucid dreaming, or remembering dreams?

      My psychiatrist has put me a dose of sleeping medicine, and I was ordered to take it every night. (I have a bipolar disorder, a depression disorder, and schizophrenia. It effects my sleeping, so that is the reason for the meds,) Do you think it will interfere with lucid dreaming, and or remembering my dreams? :/ So far I have had two lucid dreams in a row the past two nights, but the lucidity drifted on and off.

      It probably will. Some meds suppress the REM sleep (where is that you dream).
