      First LD?

      Maybe..
      Would you guys count this as an LD?
      I was dreaming and than, I had a sudden urge to do a reality check, and right when I looked at my hands, they felt really funny, like they were half asleep or something. Anyways, I counted 6 fingers, or noticed something weird and realized I was dreaming. At that point I tried to tap my finger on the table, and rub the table in order to retain lucidity, unfortunately, after a couple seconds, the dream started to fade.

      Next time I'm going to try dream spinning. I think the reason I didn't stay was because I only focused on one sense. Anyways, here's to hoping next time'll be better (:

      This reminds me of my first "lucid" dream.

      I was talking to my friend, who in the dream was living on the farm. I realize my friend doesn't live on a farm, and became lucid. I looked towards a hill in the distance and tried to set it on fire with my mind, to make sure it really was a dream. Poof. Grass set on fire. I instantly tried to take off and fly afterwards, and fell out of lucidity quickly.

      It may not have been a stable lucid, but by God, it was my first lucid. Don't expect your first lucids to be long, epic journeys. You have to train yourself before you can have REAL adventures in your dreams.

      Yup, but I didn't even do anything remotely cool like that ):
