Thread: Can you influence my dreams? Want to try

I started the experiment a couple of days ago and this is whats happened so far.
These are the dreams I can remember from last night.

*I had one dream where I awoke and jumped out of my bed and looking frantically around my room I remember a feeling of anxiety or being lost but I instantly forgot the dream as soon as I jumped up.

*I dreamt I was turning into a women. There was no physical changes in my appearance like growing breasts, but the changes where more on a mental level with my thoughts and things like my posture changing to a more feminine stance and movement. It was a very strange feeling.

I know I had more dreams than this through out the night but failed to recall them when I awoke

These are the messages I got sent

2.Sun glittering on white sand. Sea gulls - lots of sea gulls. They take off - a great swirl of shimmering white in the sun. The sea sparkling with light below them.

3.Rows and rows of corn. More corn then you have ever seen in your life. The corn rows shrink and disappear into the ground. Day turns to night and a full moon comes up from the horizon. You feel a sense of ultimate peace as a meteor shower starts.

4.changing into girls

The first couple of messages sent to me only managed to wake me up as the volume was to high on my computer.

These are the dreams I can remember from last night.

*I vaguely remember dreaming of fish. I cant remember what happened or where it was, just that fish where there.

*I was in a restaurant with a large group of friends waiting in the lounge area to be seated at our table. My girlfriend wanted something to nibble on while we waited and went off to find the waiter. She had been gone for a good 5 minutes and when she was on her way back she and the waiter where obviously flirting with each other with subtle but suggestive body contacts as a light stroke on the arm. This made me feel as if I had to go over and just give her a little kiss just to indicate she was with me, but when I called her she refused to come away from the waiter and gave me a disapproving frown. Then after 3 more refusals I walked over to her lightly pulled on her arm and leaned in to give her a kiss on the cheek. This time she pulled away from me and avoided the kiss and offering another frown this time with the waiter offering a frown of his own, frustrated a pulled her more firmly and went to talk in her ear, at which point the waiter yanked at her arm pulling her back towards him and told me to piss off. This made me feel both upset and angry towards my girlfriend for ignoring me and anger towards the waiter for his rough handling of my girlfriend. At this point I awoke with the desire to hit the waiter, not for the flirting but for the way in which he yanked at my girlfriends arm.

These are the dreams I can remember from last night.

*I was sat on the sofa with my mum younger brother and his girlfriend and I was extremely tired and somewhat grumpy. I wanted to spread out more as we were pretty cramped so I ended up shouting at them all for taking up to much room. My brother’s girlfriend got really upset as she thought I was calling her fat or something and stormed out of the house. I went into the kitchen. My brother come in after me and started yelling at me asking if I was satisfied now. He shouted at me for ages until he eventually punched me on the jaw. I warned him not to do it again and let it lye. He continued to yell and shout at me and eventually hit me again. I got angry this time and started telling him off but as I was shouting at him I kept shrinking becoming shorter which I found to be amusing so I kept laughing as I was getting shorter whilst still shouting trying to be threatening.

*I received 2 phone calls at exactly the same time from two different girls both named Gemma. I answered one of them said hello and Gemma said hello back and asked how I was. The phone then cut out and showed me on a video on the screen from a surveillance camera.

*I was with a mate walking down the street and he wanted to go into a shop to buy a drawing set, the ones with a compass ruler rubber set square etc. in the shop his brother was selling them at the entrance, but we ignored them and went looking around the shop.

*I was in the pub with a friend my boss and my bosses’ boyfriend, we were all discussing what lagers we where going to buy then I went and bought them.

*I was stood in an alley way near to were I live. One of my neighbours a young lad had took some silver paper from his house and sold it to his friend. Then another of my neighbours approached me and asked if I wanted to buy some A4 coloured paper I asked how much she said 5 pence each and I said no. We were all stood in the alley now and a guy was walking his dog, he stopped next to us for a while then growled like a dog at me to get past. Then my girlfriend returned from a long walk up in the hills and she told me she saw a group of 1000 people all dressed in red so she went over to them to see what they were doing and found it was a large stag do. She said she felt very intimidated and wanted to get away as fast as she could.

*I went into a furniture store and was looking round some antique looking furniture, I sat on a couch to try it out and noticed there was a bar on the other side of the room. Suddenly the whole place was just a bar. My little sister came over and sat with me she is 7 but she looked about 4 in this dream. Next to me was a women with 3 kids one was about 7 one was 4 and one about 2, all of them had the same rare skin disorder which made there skin look yellow and was very flaky. Everyone in the bar would move away from them as they came near and one group ran out of the bar because one had a bit of a twitching fit, all of whom were disfigured in some way. I got all of them to sit on my knee with my little sister and chatted to them. Their mother was very grateful for me making the effort with her kids.

These are the dreams I can remember from last night.

*It was my mate’s birthday and we where having a party in a large field with a cricket pitch on it, two teams were picked for cricket from a load of strangers who just happened to be in the field. we played cricket and my team lost, the game didn’t last long. We were all sat around chatting, my mates dad was riding around on one of those little motor bikes. We were all chatting amongst ourselves when we heard matt talking about cunnilingus to his girlfriend’s grandmother and we all began to laugh.

*I was walking around a town where there was a load of buildings falling apart and there was a lot of platforms on the side and top of the buildings and some of them had knights practising there sword play. We (I was with someone I did not know) came across a building which was considerably more run down than the rest and out of a broken wall came people dressed in Victorian clothing and very excited about seeing other people. I learn that the people had been trapped of from the rest of the world for many years. Everyone seemed to ignore them.

*We were all sat on a roof somewhere, when a promotional team brought around a new flavour of ice cream for us to try, it was minced beef flavour. We all tried the ice cream and all agreed it was disgusting. We all mocked the ice cream as it was promoting itself as an ice cream filled with fat.

*We had all been drinking and I decided to let my friend cut my hair. He started cutting and remembered he had been drinking and he would probably mess it up so I stopped him half way through and got up, but then I had half a hair cut and my girlfriend said I wont be able to see my regular hairdresser for at least a week so she talked me into my friend finishing it of.

These are the dreams I can remember from last night.

*It was along time ago and two criminals were to be executed for their crimes and I was the executioner. The executions where to take place in two separate locations. My weapon as the executioner was a long pole with a razor sharp spear about 12 inches long on the end with a 6 inch point extruding that at a 90 degree angle. The first execution went as planned and the criminal was killed. We then began moving to the next location with the prisoner tied up and escorted by myself and another guard. We were three quarters of the way there with no trouble but then somehow the prisoner got a knife from somewhere and was wrestling with the other guard. I swung my spear thing at the prisoner but missed and chopped of the arm of the guard, at which point the prisoner was able to stab him as well. I then stabbed at the prisoner with the spear but to know great effect. Then I don’t know if the prisoner died or got away but he was no longer an issue, the intention was now drawn to the one armed guard, knowing he was going to die a slow painful death I was ordered to kill him by driving the 6 inch spike at the end of my spear into his head. Each time I swung to deliver the deathly blow I kept missing his head and kept hitting him in the shoulder, chest and once in the jaw. By this time the wounded guard was pleading to be killed.

*I dreamt I was at work, I think I was an accountant (I’m a designer in the waking world) and my job was to balance Homer Simpsons income and the money he spends on beer.

*A girl who was apparently my girlfriend but I was unsure who she was was dying she had yellow blood coming from her from multiple injuries. I moved her into the corner of the room and she got upset because I was just sweeping her to the side. The next thing I know she is my actual girlfriend and is fine.

*I dreamt I woke up and needed to use the toilet I held on as long as I could because I didn’t want to leave my bed but then I had to go and went to the bathroom and then came back to bed. I then actually woke up and realised it was a dream and went back to sleep.

* A train I was on derailed and was heading for a large building knowing the front of the train would be crushed everyone moved towards the rear. Just before the train hit the building Bart Simpson ran past me saying he had to save someone. The train hit and when everything had stopped shaking everyone started to walk towards the next carriage (we all managed to stay on our feet) in the next carriage Everthing was a wreck and crushed. ‘The Simpsons’ characters Bart, Mo the bar tender and Ralph Wigum where trapped under a load of mangled seats and Ralph said something which made us all laugh.

These are the dreams I can remember from last night.

*I was helping out my granddad on a farm with two other workers we travelled to and from the farm about three times we had finished working for the day and we were called back out because there was a storm coming and we had to secure all the equipment. We collected together all the equipment I took the radio and stored it in a barn.

*I was swimming in a bay with a women and her kid (I don’t know who they were but felt I knew them in the dream) I was relaxing on the rocks when I noticed the hat the women’s kid was wearing bobbing up and down in the water, then I saw the shadow of what looked like a large shark near to the hat. I yelled for every one to get out and everyone did but the boy’s hat remained bobbing in the water. I dived in assuming the boy was under water and swam towards him, I reached the hat and could not see the boy anywhere, I searched around frantically, and then I noticed the boy was on the rocks, just then the shark wrapped its mouth around my shoulder and I screamed with terror, but it wasn’t a shark it was a killer whale. I managed to throw the whale off and head for shore. The whale gave chase and I managed to scramble up the rocks kicking at the whales nose. I collapsed at the side of the water exhausted and scared. I could hear the boy’s mum shouting at him. I wasn’t badly injured but everyone wanted revenge on the whale so it was captured and dragged to shore. When the whale dried it turned into a puppy and I was taken with it up to the lifeguards watch hut. My friend Dave was angry at the creature for biting me and wanted to kill it, but felt it deserved a fighting chance as he killed it so he decided to put it back in the canal (the bay had turned into a canal) then kill it. I warned him not to but he did not listen. So Dave put it back into the canal and dived in to kill it but the puppy turned back into a whale to quickly and it dragged Dave under the water. I grabbed two large kitchen knifes from the side and ran down to the canal. I jumped in the canal to cross over and got out the other side where I searched frantically up and down the side of the canal but the only sign of Dave I could find was a banana skin he had and an empty can of redbull (don’t know how I knew they where his). Then I saw he whale and it told me it had trapped Dave in its stomach. By this time a large group of people had joined me and was following me up the canal along side the whale. The whale would not come out of the water because there was to many people, so I tried to get people to leave but they would not budge. So I threw one of the knifes I was carrying and it stuck in the whales back, so now it would have to come out of the canal to seek medical attention. The whale got out of the canal but turned into a ginger haired man holding a musket and was waving it around at everyone, he threatened to kill Dave if everyone didn’t get back, I tried to stop everyone closing in but they kept coming closer and closer in on the ginger man. Then I woke up.

NIGHT 7:

6: on a plane about to take off, you go to the front of the plane to talk to the captain, you see there is none, you get off your plane and before getting on the next plane you ask to see if the captain is really there

7: gardening, relaxing, song birds, water fountain, peaceful

8: camping with family, nothing is going right, end of camping trip and heading home, some family member who is important to you, says it was the best time of their life, feelings of happyness, joy, proud...

9: camping, bear distroys the camp when you are gone fishing, come back, see the mess, find out nothing is broken, or eaten, feelings: shocked and releived

10: You are in the middle of the ocean and a storm is coming.All you see around you is water and seagulls are flying above your head as the storm clouds gather.

These are the dreams I can remember from last night.

*Me and the rugby lads were on a tour around somewhere and played in several games, we were on a coach travelling from place to place and there was a lot of laughing.

* Me and an old friend and a current friend where in a strip club, we were all in a private booth, I started to feel uncomfortable and I got up kissed the stripper and walked out.

*Me and two friends were sat in a delivery van, we were waiting for something but I don’t know what it was, One of my friends said he was going for a blowjob and went down a side street were we were parked. Shortly after we heard a large explosion and jumped out of the van to see what it was. We look down the side street and see my other friend strolling out with a large ball of flames behind, I said to my mate I didn’t think he actually meant he was on a blow job. Just then my friend who blew up a car started to wobble and stagger and then two police officers ran past us over to him he told them he was just walking past and it blew up. Me and my other friend jumped in the van and drove off.

*I was driving along a long open road with two friends when I was bursting to have a dump. I got them to pull over and ran to a near by bush and pulled of some large leaves. I gathered some leaves and managed to find a few scraps of paper. I went over to a box by the road and sat behind it. I then thought I better dig a whole to do it in, so I began digging. Then an old lady appeared and offered me some toilet roll and sat down next to my hole and started to go to the toilet.

I have just created a website which utilizes the fact that we are receptive to outside influences as we dream. Now normally an influential occurrence in the real world is normally done with out intention and with out the influencers knowledge. My site allows members to send messages to other members as they are dreaming in an attempt to influence their dreams. One member will type a message to a member and that message is added to the member’s message store, now the next time this member goes to sleep whilst using this site. The site will translate the typed message into speech and play it to the sleeping member as they sleep. All messages are recorded in a database so when the sleeping member awakes in the morning they can add their dreams they recall from that night then compare the messages they were sent to the dreams they had to see if there was any influences there.

there are several security features in place on the site to prevent any unwanted content in the dream messages. each member can set up a list of disallowed words and each message that is sent to them can be checked to see if the message contains any of the words if it does the message is rejected. A member may choose to block certain members from sending them dream messages, only allow members who they have personally invited to send them a message or block all members from sending messages and use it to send messages to their self.

There is also a nice visual representation of where in the world the members are and what their current status is (offline, online or sleeping). This is a bit bare at the moment as I have only just launched it today, but give it some time to develop.
