      a small success

I have tried to have lucid dreams many times.....but still....the dream fades very quickly when I realize it was dream

      last night,
i dreamt that I was caring for 4 hamsters.....but after a while, I realize that I just have got 2 hamsters, then I realize this is a dream.

Immediately, the dream scene fades,.....but at that time, I remember the technique of rubbing hands, whenever I rub hands, the scene got back for a while......just after some time......when I raise my head, the dream scene fades immediately.....and i have no time to rub hands again....
      and i woke up

      what mistake did i make?......
or any suggestion besides rubbing hand?

I have found that rubbing your hands together does not work very well. When the dreamworld fades, try spinning yourself around a few times, it always works for me.
