      help taking control please

      any help would be appreciated.
I keep having strong vivid dreams and even when RT's have failed in them I just carry on dreaming with no control.

I have been taking B6 last few days though and I have not had as many dreams that I can remember . Now my dreams seem to stay on one subject and are a lot longer. My last seemed to be for about half an hour and in that time I
      traveled across Europe ,
      went skiing,
met up with some old friends,
had a drink in the resort pub
      got very drunk
planed a date with a young woman at the Ski resort hotel ,the last thing she said to me was "I'll just go for a shower come back in 5 minutes"
I went to my room as I looked out the window a friend rang and I was telling them about the lovely view only when I looked again it had all changed but even though I realized I still didn't get control

I have been doing RC's all day every day and do seem to do them in my dreams but I just carry on regardless

I thought i had found my dream sign this being my parents house where i spent my first 20 years of life, most of my dreams sempt to be there and both lucid dreams with control have been there

      any help please ?

      Stef

      A lot of variables

It is crazy how the brain works. How in a dream it can justify the dreamscape.
      You had said;
I went to my room as I looked out the window a friend rang and I was telling them about the lovely view only when I looked again it had all changed but even though I realized I still didn't get control [/b]
You realized in the context of your dream? It is hard to explain what I am trying to say.
Sometimes in your dream you can see a disfunction from the norm but the subconscious fills in the conscious minds effort to make sense of it.

So my point is that if you perform a reality check IN your dream you are in a sense already Lucid. Or should I say awake in your dream. You just don't realize it yet. Opon doing a RC and you prove to youself that you are indeed in a dream you then can crossover and consider your self Lucid, more clear, aware.
Does that make any sense at all?

What reality checks do you perform? Outside of viewing the dreamscape?

      Thanks for the reply Howetzer

sort of make sense to me , I think when i say to myself in my dream 'Oh Fudge i'm dreaming' then i know it's a dream otherwise i'm just going with the flow without really taking control

RC's I was doing them all the time then realized that if I did them whenever my surroundings changed it would be more sensible as I spend 8 hours sat behind a computer then 3 hours sat down in front of the TV at night

so whenever I leave a room , go out in the car etc. I'll try and push my hand through my palm, or if I stand in front of the mirror I'll try and push my fingers through the mirror I would guess I must do at least 25 a day

another one i'm hoping will help is, whenever i see a pretty woman i'll hold my nose and try and breath, just on the of chance i'll dream about some pretty yng woman and do the check lol

I know when I have control in my dreams as the first time I did it was just so real yet I new I was dreaming and could move around and do almost whatever I wanted to though since the first time I have never had such success - it's almost as if the excitement of wanting to do it is now stoping me

      all the best
