First two Lucid Dreams in one night!

      Yahoo!

I experienced my very first two lucid dreams in the same night!

      Here they are:

      Commentary || Lucid || Non-Lucid

So I went to bed at about 11:00. Prior to bed, I took about a 30 minutes meditation session in the bath with the lights turned off - very relaxing. I then spent about 5 minutes on DV, did a couple of reality checks, then went to bed.
I woke up about 6:00 (Apparently, I didn't drink enough water >.<) and absolutely no dream recall. I got up, used the bathroom, got refocused then went back to bed.

I was walking around in my house in the dark. I met my father and he said he was going to bed. I replied with a trite "OK". Then I went onto my porch and looked across the street at one of my neighboring houses. On its porch, a woman with a huge brown afro was staring at me.
Next thing I knew, I was lying on my couch listening to gospel music coming out from my karaoke machine (which was in a different position than it normally is).

I then became lucid. For my first time, it felt VERY weird being lucid.

I pinched my nose and to my shock, I could breath! Very odd sensation indeed. I tried rubbing my hands together to try to increase clarity and stability, but I really couldn't focus. It was like being 70% lucid, 30% dazed.
Oddly, I was more surprised than excited, so I could keep a calm and collected head. I decided I wanted to go outside. Heh, I did this by walking through my house walls (Why didn't I use the door?).

Outside it was dark. I saw the 30ft. light pole (It's removed now) that stood in my backyard. I decided I wanted to jump on it, but I didn't know how to. So I tried to jump high (getting a running start, etc) but to no avail. At best, I stood in the air a foot longer than I usually did. I lost a little Lucidity at this point.

Now I decided I wanted to fly over my yard fence. Again, I had no clue how to fly .
So I started flapping my hands! It was quite funny, and somehow I managed to "glide" over the fence. At this point I lost a little Lucidity again. I tried spinning around to keep my dream from destabilizing and shouted "Increase clarity!".

It worked, and I was back in my driveway. I got an idea, and shouted out - "Show me something Amazing!". I waited, then naturally looked at this sky. The sky - in breathtaking beauty and clarity - was full of stars. In the middle of the sky, I could see Saturn about 3/4 the size of the moon. It was beautiful, and I decided I wanted to teleport up to it. I thought in my mind "I want to teleport to Saturn's rings". Nothing happened but a huge loss of lucidity.

      [Scene Transition]

I found myself at a basketball court with a few men and about 100 people spectating The men started shooting basketballs, so I did too. Apparently we were trying to impress some scout looking. No matter what I did though, I couldn't make a shot. So I grabbed the lightest basketball, dribbled to the goal nearest the scout. I dribbled past the goal, the shot a "No-look" shot. All the while, I met eyes with the scout. Time seemed to slow down here as we met eyes. Then I heard a "swishing" sound. The scout seemed impressed. I lose lucidity here and the dream ended.

      Dream #2

Woke up at about 8:30. Went to the bathroom, went on DV for five minutes, then went back to bed.
This dream was a fragment, nothing lucid about it (or I may have became lucid at the very end).

I walked into my office and saw an Asian child at the computer seat. We stared at each other for a moment. He had absolutely no correlation with the dream I had (I think at least). I walked over to him and touched his shoulder. He immediately disappeared and I believe I gained Lucidity. However, the dream ended here.

      Dream # 3

Woke up at 9:15 or so. Went immediately back to bed after writing my dream down.

I believe I had a false awakening. I found myself on my bed. My body felt EXTREMELY heavy and by vision was dark and fuzzy. I did a reality check, and to my surprise, I could breathe through my nose.

I took the time to try to stabilize my dream, but I could feel it was a very light feeling of lucidity. I walked out the door and I was outside my house in daylight. A blue truck hastily drove out my driveway with two people hanging from the back of it.
Annoyed, I wanted to destroy the truck. So I invisioned myself throwing fireballs at the truck, and I went for a DBZ energy ball stance. Absolutely nothing happened. (I'm terrible at super powers!) I tried shooting lightning but with no results. My dog then walked up from my backyard. He was very skinny and he looked like a cross between what he is and a weiner dog. I felt his fur, and it felt fragile and brittle. He wanted my to rub his stomach but I didn't. The dream ended here.

Well, that's it. I hope to accomplish more tasks in the future. A couple of questions though:

      1. How do you use super powers in dreams? I believe I was trying to force it out.
      2. How do you travel to different places?

      Thanks for reading

Woah that sounds sweet Marlow (off topic- did you get that name from Battlefield Bad Company?)

Anyway, that was awsome that your first two LDs you stayed in the dream for a while. All mine so far have turned into FAs (but one was really sweet)

As for super powers I have no experience but I would say you should concentrate extremely hard. Take the DBZ stance like you said and hold you arms back making a ball with you hands and slowly yell "KAAAA MAAAEE... HAMMM AEEE". Try waiting like 15 secs and than release the blast wave! "HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA"

      (yes I love DBZ )

Haha nah, I got my name cause "Marlowe" is my last name and people call me that instead of my first name all the time

Whoa! 15 seconds!? I would be like getting ready to blast the moon with that one! Haha but I'll try it! xD

Damn you're lucky. I've had four lucid dreams all of which went like this:

      Gained lucidity.

      OMG, I'm lucid! W00T.

      Lost lucidity.
"I know that I am mortal by nature, and ephemeral; but when I trace at my pleasure the windings to and fro of the heavenly bodies I no longer touch the earth with my feet: I stand in the presence of Zeus himself and take my fill of ambrosia, food of the gods." - Claudius Ptolemy

      Haha yeah I know.

I believe I was too dazed and surprised to actually be excited in the dream; however, the excitement certainly started after I woke up
