      Dream Guide

From the DV Dictionary tutorial, I see:

      Dream Guide
      1. A dream character who helps you knows more that the average dream character about your dream; some believe that it is a manifestation of your subconscious.

And I've see many references to this idea in threads and people's DJs. But I'm unsure able how to find/create my own DG. Is it one person from my real life that I will symbolize in dream? Is it an imaginary character? How should I approach the idea? What are some experiences that people have had?

I haven't personally seen my dream guide, but the way you describe what could possibly be yours is very similar to other posts, and i have a feeling you will see him in another dream, just try to remember what he looks like. Normal DCs (Dream Characters) will only speak certain phrases, or repeat the same phrase, they will also only normally react to what you say, rather than speaking to you first. The way you describe your 'Guy', the way he comes and talks to you, without you speaking to him, sounds very much like a dream guide, rather than a normal DC.

Meh, I don't call it a dream guide, I found your subconscience prefers to be called "Sub", for some reason...
