Hi, I'm a senior high school student and I'm making my science fair project about lucid dreaming. So my objective is to reach lucidity in a minimum of 30 days, Im currently 10 days in. I already know the theory behind all the popular techniques (DILD, WILD, MILD, WBTB,etc.) and I'm also keeping a daily dream log. The first few days I could dream recall like a pro, remembering every single detail of the dream! But since some 3 days back I have had to really struggle to even remember what the dream is about...

The only thing I've changed in my sleeping schedule is that now I sleep a full 8 hours instead of my usual 6-7. Another thing that has changed is that now Im actually focusing in establishing lucidity by using auto suggestion and basic reality checks. Last night, in a last ditch effort, I woke myself up at 2 AM attempting a WBTB technique. What is causing my current "recall block"? Am I trying to hard? Should I change back my sleep schedule?
