help, not enjoyin lucid dreams at all!!

hi i am new to this site and the reason i joined is to get some advice,

i started havin lucid dreams years ago by trying to get out of a nightmare and i woke (many times that night) only to find that i was still asleep! the experience was great and my thought was wow that was good now i need to wake up and tell my mum about this, only that happened over and over and became very frustrating!

now my problem is whenever i have a lucid dream it's usally an unpleasent one and my first response to it is the same as the first time it happened...WAKE UP. which i do only to find i am actully still asleep and in a just as upsetting scene and although i can stop bad things happening and escape from any evils, i still have the desire to wake but the same thing just happens! and when i do finally wake i feel exausted!!

any advice would be great as i have simply had enough of this, i've heard of people havin great expierences during lucid and i am fed up gettin expierences that i just cant wait to get out of!
      many thanks

I would check out the Dream Contol section. Being Lucid is one thing, but controlling what you dream is another.

It is. Lucid Dreaming is being aware you're in the dream state. Once you get there, then you start controlling your dreams, summoning things, etc. Goodluck. Change your user name, and stick around. Theres a load of good people, and even more information here.

Maybe you could try visualizing your bed or go to sleep in the dream, I don't really know. You could pass the time while in the dreams by messing around, you could talk to people in a way you wouldn't in real life or do stuff you normally wouldn't do.
"For a long time it gave me nightmares, having to witness an injustice like that. It was a constant reminder of how unfair this world can be, I can still hear them taunting him. 'Silly Rabbit, Trix are for kids!'... How come they just couldn't give him some cereal?"

Id imagine you'd just have to make a new count. Which, you wouldn't be losing much as you're only at 3 posts and you just joined. I'd recommend contacting a moderator for help first.
