      Stoked! Full page dj entry!

Well, I started keeping a Dream Journal Sept 2nd, 2010. The first 2 nights were short paragraphs ( about 6 or 7 sentences ). Night before last was 12 lines, and last nights was a FULL ON PAGE! And, I could have kept writing a bit more if I wanted to!

This has me so excited, as I feel I'm making GREAT progress, and I feel I've gotten THAT much closer to being able to Lucid Dream ( Is that true ).

Question though. When I wrote down this stuff, it's almost like each paragraph is a different scenario. Would each scenario be a separate dream, or just one big mixed up dream that all trails together.

First is on me and my father in law fighting ( He got a tattoo from someone, and I'm a tattoo artist who's been trying to tattoo him for YEARS. So we fought about that in dream )

      Second paragraph is about pirates

third paragraph is about penelope cruz

fourth paragraph is about me and my son in the water ( Think it may be attached to the pirate dream )

These dreams were VERY vivid, and clear.

Well done! Yeah, your dream journal is KEY to LDing. It teaches you to remember your dreams, and the more you do it the better you become at recalling dreams! If you can't remember an LD, then it might aswell not have happened right

I'd say those were just scene changes. Happens in loads of dreams! If not though, you managed to remember 4 dreams and a paragraph on each. That is fantastic, well done mate

      DILD(s) = 3

Third one was really short and unstable

You know what's the most annoying crap? Is when you decide that you're gonna write the whole thing by hand and then you can remember like 6 dreams and it takes forever. Now I usually just note the general topic of the dream and then type it up later in the day when I have time.

Ive started putting 1 inch rubber grips around my pens, and pencils. I use these on my tubes while I tattoo. And sometimes I tattoo straight for 5 or more hours at a time. And the larger 1 inch grips makes it alot easier and more comfortable because your hand is so constricted to securely hold the narrow pen / pencil ( this is why you get thumb / hand cramps ). Look into it, Im sure they sell just a regular 1" grip for pencils. I would gladly mail you some. I have tons ( I order 750 at a time, and usually 30 or so has the sterilized packaging damaged so I cant use them in the shop so I just take the grips off and toss em in a drawer next time I need one on a pen(cil). Id imagine there are other uses you could find for these. If you're interested, PM me and Ill mail you some. ( free of course )

Sounds like you're making good progress. My longest DJ entry was 3 pages, and wasn't lucid surprisingly.

It's great that you're getting excited about your dreams, that motivation is key, but keep in mind that the most important time to focus on while learning LDing is the daytime. Don't just think about your dreams, think about how they are different from reality. Anytime the idea of Lding or even dreams pops into your mind take the time to THOROUGHLY establish that you are awake. It is very important that you don't do just a quick reality check that you don't think about. Once you do that think about these page long dream journal entries, remember what the dream was like, imagine yourself in the dream, and picture yourself becoming lucid in that scenario, realizing it's dreamlikeness. Keep up the good work! Good Luck!
