The Weirdest Lucid Dream I've ever had.

Well, I don't know if this is normal or not but I woke up at around 5am.

I layed back down to go to bed and all of the sudden my eyes started flashing alot like white for no reason. Then all of the suden I was floating in midair and there were images in front of me to my left and my right. These images I suspect are my memories. All of the Sudden I was thrusted forward at an alarming rate and I could see all of my memories float past me in less than 5 seconds.

Then one of the images popped out and I fell in and I ended up in a third person stance where I could control anyone I wanted to and make anything I wanted to happen come true. This is only my second lucid dreaming experience.

When I was thrusted forward it was painful and I think I even yelled out in real life. It felt very realistic to the point it was quite scary.

Is this normal and what does this mean?

5am is usually right around the end of most people's REM cycle, yes, it's very common to wake up at that time and what you experienced was a hypnagogic jerk, olso common upon waking up in the middle of the night.
