When you're learning to attatin lucidity in a dream it seems to be pretty common to have the dream come apart. You can find a lot of good info on it scattered on this website, but the short form is that the minute you think "I'm dreaming," you want to do a few things to stabalize the dream. Rub your hands together, or touch things around you, to anchor yourself physically in the dream. Then turn in a slow circle, looking around the room. The idea here is that you're forcing your brain to "render" the room completely, focusing it on the dream. |

It sounds as if you are not seeing the dream clearly. Does it look foggy? I come across dreams like this, and they are not get very clear until I do some reality checks. The more I feel around the clearer the dream becomes. Just a thought. |

Yeah for me reaility checks dont make the dream clearer I give myself a command such as "Increase Lucidity now" for me anyway it sounds and feels as if ive got a second pair of eyelids and they open to reveal a crystal clear world |

Yeah , they are really foggy... |

Hm... have you tried focusing your attention to sensations? For example, stop focusing on the story of the dream, or the situations, go to the nearest thing that has a somewhat rough texture to it and rub your hand across it. Place your attention on the feeling of rubbing your hand against the surface, and focus mostly on that so it boosts it's realism. This alone has made a foggy dream crystal clear, but if it doesn't clear things up (but it feels real) start adding other senses, like smell, etc. I read somewhere (probably on here, actually) that you should fall backwards to awaken your sense of balance which helps boost realism. |
