Thread: Not Sure if i went lucid or not.

Hi there,

I'm new on these forums. I got into lucid dreaming three days ago, while being inspired by the movie Inception. I've been reading quite a lot about it,bought the book - Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming.
Now, yesterday i had a dream, but im not totally sure i went lucid or not. I noticed something was wrong in the dream, and i immediately took the time to do a reality check. I did the "pinch the nose" method, and to my surprise I could actually breath.
I kept repeating that, to make sure i was dreaming. and i was. i tried jumping, trying to hang in the air, but i couldnt. I was really exited about the idea, and then the dream faded, and i woke up. But im not sure if i had a lucid dream, or just dreamed that i had a lucid.

Could anyone help me out here?

You were lucid. Keep trying, that's how I starded out to and now I can do anything I want

That happened to me too. Except I think that I dreamt that I had a lucid dream. I have yet to have one. x_x

Yes, if you know you are dreaming you are lucid.

I might have had one this morning too, but it only lasted like 20 sec. would that count as a lucid dream?

I repeat, if you KNOW you are dreaming it counts as a lucid..no matter how short it is

like, who cares if you dream you were lucid. That means your lucid. Either you know you're dreaming or you don't. anyway, good luck!
